Honestly so delicious.

I had the jhol MoMo. I had never had MoMo before but am generally a HUGE dumpling fan. I asked the gentleman behind the counter what he would recommend he walked me through the options. Asking my spice tolerance (high) and telling me about the cultural aspects of the different versions. He said the jhol was most traditional and was what he ate growing up in Nepal. SO GOOD.

The Jhol soup was that sort of warm hearty spicy with a touch of acidity that heats up your mouth and makes your nose run a little. The MoMo themselves were soft but had structural integrity and had a nice soft chicken filling that had some veggies and lots of tasty herbs inside. I damn near licked the bowl.

The owner who serves me asked me for an honest review, good, bad, all of it. He wants to be honestly successful in this location. (His first location is the international food hall in Clarksville, I think he said) I have nothing bad to say. It was delicious.

I will be back to try everything else on the menu as soon as possible.

I love the new comma food hall that this location is in. The other pictures make it look like there is no where to sit. But I actually was able to take my food over to the C3 bar and pair my Jhol MoMo with C3’s dry white blend. I would recommend as the dry wine cut through the spice. Von, my bartender, made the recommendation.

This would be a good place to come for mixed company with different food preferences as you can all get different food and still enjoy together.

This spot is tucked inside the Commas food hall in the mall in Silver Spring. The steamed veggie dumplings were amazing. But the real standout was the Chatamari which was so unique and slightly spicy!

Enjoyed the Anda Kachila appetizer (ground chicken and egg w a slightly sweet but tasty sauce) a lot as well as the chili momo (steamed dumplings) at MomoHub Silver Spring in the Commas Food Hall, basically a food court with varied and some unusual cuisines. Not spicy although they have spicy dishes, which I’ll go to try next time. MomoHub is a Nepalese restaurant. The man who took the orders was very friendly and conscientious. He had just opened so it took a while for the equipment to warm up and he came to find me in the food hall to apologize for the wait. It wasn’t long and I wasn’t concerned since he’d told me the equipment would take a while to warm up.

Food was really good. I really liked the rice pancake with the egg on top. Dumplings were really good as well as the fried chicken. The owner’s friendly and the food is clean. Felt really good afterwards. Didn’t feel heavy even though it was very flavorful. I would definitely eat there again. I’m giving five stars to atmosphere because it’s exactly what it is trying to be.

I ordered from here for the first time after seeing the overwhelmingly positive reviews. The only reason I’m giving 2 stars is for the steamed momos and the chutney, which were spicy and flavorful. Unfortunately, I wouldn’t recommend the chilli momos or the vegetable chicken chowmein at all. The noodles were honestly inedible—there were no vegetables, and both the taste and smell were off. On top of that, the order took an extremely long time to be handed over to the dasher. Overall, a very disappointing experience.

The place is in the food hall (and it’s really difficult to find). The pan-fried momo was awesome, with the golden crisp shell and great taste. My friend had chilly momo. It was REALLY spicy but if you like challenges feel free to order it. Though it has some other food on the menu, i’d still recommend getting their momo.
