We stopped there for lunch…was a nice little place just over the bridge cozy homey atmosphere..had some home made items misled in with old candy store area. I enjoyed reading the things on the wall and all the other things old and new

I love this little store. Food is amazing. Nice selection of sodas (I loved the lavender one). If I could change anything it would be moving the candy wall back to where it was and reinstalling the original set up. The heavy glass ball jars are an accident waiting to happen.

Ordered two sandwiches, a brownie and a baguette for $40. If the sandwiches were outstanding, I might not mind, but they were a joke. I ordered a cheese and avocado sandwich and my husband got turkey. There was ONE thinly sliced piece of cheese; my husband had two slices of thinly sliced turkey. They pile it high with shredded lettuce to make it look like you are getting something substantial. The place wan’t busy, but it took 20 minutes to get TWO SANDWICHES. Never again.

Wonderful spot for tasty sandwiches. We tried it out while visiting the Bristol/Damariscotta area and were not disappointed. The staff was very friendly and welcoming of tourists and locals alike. The decor and ambiance was fun, funky and eclectic.
Additionally, a GIANT THANK YOU to the staff person who held on to my wife’s wallet after she dropped it outside the market and someone turned it in. They recognized her by her license photo and hoped we’d come back. Can’t thank you enough!

Great little coffee shop, breakfast and lunch place tucked away down the end of the main street across from seafood market and the water. Coffee is smooth, a generous menu for sandwiches and deliciously made. It’s a cheap and easy way to find lunch if your trying to avoid yet another expensive sit-down meal on your vacation, or you can’t look another lobster roll or fish for the rest of the year. There’s also a selection of candy, snacks and other fun kid items in-stock. Seating is somewhat limited but take it to go and go across the road to the water and sit on a bench and enjoy another beautiful main view. Park across the road for easy parking as the main street parking is a pain.

I had been interested in stopping in, but after walking by and reading the messages plastered in the windows, I decided to pass. What I saw didn’t feel welcoming—it came across as hostile.
After passing by, my family and I were unexpectedly caught in a political protest on the bridge, which we later learned the owner helps organize. It was uncomfortable and out of place, especially since this all happened during what was supposed to be a family‑friendly pumpkin fest.
Because of this experience, I’ll continue to pass by this store and the negativity it promotes. HARD PASS!

Worst place to order anything. 45 minutes for a sandwich and no customers around? Plus the staff are not the nicest humans. I assume their 4.7 rating is from friends because I’ve heard bad things with a lot of people..plus the owner got arrested for hold a banner across the town bridge. Guess that explains a lot about ownership
