Cool place with good food. Staff were friendly and attentive. Had the yuca fries that were tasty. The mofongo was good but dry…and was a bit off. I think they add pork rinds from a bag. Not sure but that what it tasted like. The Cuban sandwich was decent as well.
Although I didn’t love it, I would go back to try some of the other stuff on the menu.

I can’t even begin to describe how good this food is. The Cuban sandwich is on point! The plantains are awesome. What makes it even better is that it’s a vet owned business. What makes it even more sweeter is that it’s a fellow boricuq devil dolphin. We will be back.

The food was delicious, the steak in the tacos was marinated very well. The empanada was also good, but I wasn’t sure what to expect so it blew what I imagined out of the water! The pricing is fair and the portion sizes are large. But there are only 6 seats in the place.

THANK GOD FOR THIS PLACE!!!!! Just stopped here today and looooovvvveeeed it. Specially being away from home in a new state visiting for our son’s USMC graduation and were dying for some Puerto Rican rice and beans! This place has great atmosphere, great prices, wonderful owners very friendly and inviting and veteran owned. The flavor is there everything was fresh and taste great! Great portions for the price. Plus it’s the ONLY Puerto Rican spot you’ll find (no really there’s no other!) Lol.. this place is definitely a hidden gem that everyone SHOULD GO TRY! Thank you guys for the great service, conversation, and best of all great food! If we’re ever back in SC we will see you guys again, many blessings and continued success!

This is the best kept secret in Jacksonville! Just like home! We loved everything from the time we walked into this little gem of Cultural magic! Everything is homemade, and takes you back to sitting at the table with family enjoying the homemade delicious food mom makes!!! A must try!
