Local Guide Tests
We were out for an evening walk when we spotted this food truck and somehow got hungry again — and we’re glad we stopped.
There was even some live music playing, and despite the holidays, it was pleasantly quiet and relaxed. The woman taking our order was friendly, though you could tell she’d probably been working for quite a while and was understandably tired.
The food itself was delicious, freshly prepared, and really hit the spot. For the price, the value was absolutely great.
A nice, spontaneous stop with good food and a relaxed vibe — definitely worth it.

There is a reason Beth won the 2025 best bartender on the beach award! She is fabulous. The food trailer have the best pineapple shrimp tacos!
Live music, good employees and food makes this a “must go” place on Fort Myers Beach!

They’re doing it right here. Live music, drinks, beach, food truck, dog friendly, heaters on a chilly night. A little bit of old FMB. Let’s preserve it.

Super chill and relaxing spot when we went this past weekend. Danny was not only friendly and attentive to us, but all of the guests he served! I wish he was my local bartender back home! The live music was great, very talented and really solidified the chill vibe of the place. Food stand also good and they have breakfast 9-11am. Ample seating and close enough to the beach for great views.

Ordered 2 jerk chicken wraps. The 6 chips we got were stale to eat with the small container of salsa. I don’t know how this classified as jerk chicken. All though not terrible, it was not jerk chicken. Even though it was a food truck I would have expected better service.

La Ola is one of many food trucks at Fort Myers Beach that is beach front. They had plenty of seating with umbrellas , live music, good food (not a huge menu but that’s okay!) it was so nice to be able to see the sunset right where we sat.

Bartender said they were the owner. Charged my credit card for two drinks and said that it didn’t go through even though my credit card transaction came through on my watch. They said that if it would have went through the computer would have printed a receipt to sign with tip; that’s when I gave her the printed receipt that apparently “she forgot about”. She then proceeded to tell me that she accidentally canceled the transaction and demanded another form of payment. I used my check card for the second payment. The original charged still went through so I paid twice for one transaction. Disputing credit card charge!! Avoid!!!
– follow up to owners response below – the charge went through on by cards as highlighted below. I’m forced to file a CC dispute.
Please remove the unauthorized charge before this gets escalated to the BBB and others.

I ate here quite a few times on vacations before hurricane Ian. I did take out from the food truck 2x…my favorite Lucy in the Sky Burrito did not disappoint. I also got the BBQ pulled pork sandwich with fries. It was SO good! Favorite food for me in FMB.

This is a late review ( visited this place in July, and now is October), but I found some photos from here and decided to leave a review. As one review says: this is one of many food trucks in FM nowadays.
The woman who worked there was really nice. There is no “atmosphere “,
since there were just us at that time. The food was average, nothing spectacular. I had some burrito or quesadilla ( I am not sure how they name it, but the photo is attached) and my son had a beagle breakfast sandwich with sausage. Eatable, but can’t say I enjoyed.
