The Food is SO GOOD!!! My Dad and I stopped by today on his visit up from NV. Everything was Amazing, the Nachos and French Toast were our Faves, but OMG, don’t bother eating the overhyped food in Seattle, GO HERE! They were so welcoming and it’s clear they love what they do and put A LOT of work into the food and entire business. 10/10 I ate enough food for a whole week and I want to do it again. P.S. Everything we ate was Vegan Friendly!!!

This place is an amazing place for a bite to eat or a drink or just to hang out! There are fun events happening here such as karaokeive entertainment,caberet shows and more. Rise and shine has an excellent vegan and vegetarian options. The cocktail presentation is phenomenal. With it’s close proximity to PLU this is a great study spot for students. Also the atmosphere is out of this world compared to sitting at a Starbucks. There is always new art being displayed and the furniture is fun and funky! I highly recommend this place for a date night or birthday or just a spot to chill for a bit.

So as a new vegan for the past two months, and self titled chef, I have been making my own food filled with flavor, punch, hearty, sweet and delicious flavored foods of my own. I struggled with finding local spots that catered to my pallet for a good meal. I’ve been underwhelmed of local vegan options around town. And To my surprise I came here and the atmosphere was eclectic, welcoming and different.
The service IS slow that is my only complaint but honestly the food was so delicious. I got it Togo because I wasn’t sure I was going to like it and would’ve just given it to my son but I opened it and you can smell the citrus, garlic, and flavor immediately. So I took a sip of the soup, YUM! Butternut squash soup was amazing so then I took a bite of the sandwich and I’m pretty sure I was so overwhelmed with flavor I inhaled it. Hands down the BEST sandwich I’ve ever eaten out.

This place is amazing. The atmosphere is so beautiful, interesting, and artistic, I loved it. The food is also a work of art and absolutely delicious. Sure you might have to wait a little longer but don’t come here for a quick bite, come here for amazing food, culture, experience, and to chill. They also have karaoke and performances. We were just passing through town but I will definitely come here again if ever in the area again.

They do an event I believe every Sunday, I went yesterday night with a group of 6 people. We’re very punctual people so we were a little early to the party I’ll say people started really showing up around 9-10pm. The vibe was great, there were two drag queens and one drag king, as well as a DJ. The staff was SUPER friendly, and walking around all night engaging with everyone and participating in the show. Everyone had a lot of fun and the staff was great! Compared to $18 vodka crans you’d get in downtown Tacoma, I’d say their prices were more than reasonable. I think it was like $10 a drink for a double vodka cran tall. But don’t quote me on that
However, there were two guys that came in that were visibly cishet. One was pretending to be passed out in a chair, and the other was scanning the room the whole time. I actually went to the restroom (single restroom) and he walked in on me no more than 5 seconds later and acted like he didn’t see me going in. I was 100% sure I had locked the door, and even after he shut it I pulled on the handle and it was locked. Not a huge deal, but it would have been a scene if it was anyone from my party. I warned the staff, and they handled it accordingly.
Overall a great experience, performers were great, staff was great! Thanks

Cozy eclectic place and tantalizing vibes with delicious food. Stunning art work, women owned business, and felt like we were in lavish royal boudoir. The food was everything we hoped for and much much more.
The turmeric fries were out of this world and the black bean burger was delicious. My partner says the bbq cauliflower sandwich was excellent. I didn’t get to try their drinks but they all looked amazing. This place is great for a date night, special occasion or just a pop in for some wonderful food. Get off the road, sink into a big cozy chair and enjoy some yummy vegetarian food and a drink.

My wife and I ordered a black bean teriyaki burger, a berry salad, and turmeric fries. Everything was perfect and so flavorful, and the presentation was adorable (portions were generous as well). The mood was relaxed and friendly and we left feeling full and nourished <3

We absolutely love and enjoyed being here, my Sun and I came for lunch today and we were very happy with our experience once again. Tony is absolutely a GEM as well as her business. The artwork, music, lighting, crystals, plants and overall the aesthetic was absolutely Beautiful… The smoothie, juices and coffee were delicious.

Was very pleasantly surprised. We had checked out to see what was still open for dinner after a busy day out, and this place was open. We had showed up during mic night. The music was great, place had wonderful vibes. Also thank you to the awesome guys for showing us a cool magic trick with Fire and bubbles. The whole experience for our first time here was awesome food included.
