Love the service, bartender especially (forgot her name) Love the atmosphere. Very clean and aesthetically pleasing. The food is terrible. Flat out. The tater tots are not seasoned at all but the tomato aoli that comes with it is good. The smash burger literally sits in a pile of grease from the patties. The bun is so thick making the patties feel small. I wouldn’t come back and eat the food but i would definitely come back to the bar for the service and drinks.

Baby Shower: could not have asked for a better experience! We had the ‘patio’ with the fireplace for my daughter-in-law’s baby shower and the setting was perfect for 60 people. All fit comfortably and the room was warm and set up beautifully. We were able to come in an hour early and decorate, as well as bring our own store-bought bakeries. Parking was easy on both sides of the main door, so no one had to walk far.
I looked at (at least 10) other locations for the shower; all of which had added fee’s on top of room fee, bar fee, etc. Burntwood was the best price for SO many amenities that we didn’t have to pay extra for. We did opt to pay for linens for the tables, which was well worth it. We had a Mimosa bar, which was manned by a staff member, and we did a ‘Host Bar’ where people could order what they wanted at the bar. The food was favorably commented on by many of the guests as to how good it all was!
Jamie, the catering Manager worked with my many questions, and graciously replied quickly, answering all our needs. Liz and a team of 2 other hostesses were present from the time we walked in, to the time we left the event. If I can tell you how AMAZING they were to our party, I cannot find enough words to express the impeccable customer service they offered! It went SO smooth, and they were always there for every need during the event. This team was truly the example of great leadership at Burntwood. As a manager myself, and years of customer service in the retail sector, I have to say, Burntwood Tavern, their management, catering team, service, food, cozy atmosphere and enthusiasm for our event was A+. I would absolutely call on them for any future event. A huge THANK YOU to Jamie, Liz and her team for making our baby shower PERFECT!

The smashed burger was cooked to perfection. It was juicy and their house special sauce was a nice complement to their very well seasoned smashed patties. The fries were fresh cut and cooked to perfection and flavorful. My son asked for a side of ranch for dipping. He loved the ranch and said it was the best he has had and made fresh not store bought. I ordered the classic cheeseburger cooked medium. The burger was seasoned and cooked perfectly. I asked for a side of sriracha aioli for dipping that went well with the meal. The server was very attentive and friendly. Will definitely be back.

I came here for a baby shower. I am vegan and unfortunately, there was not a single thing on the menu that I was able to order. I ended up just having to get a side of french fries and it was quite expensive at seven dollars for just a side of fries. The service was good and I think in general the atmosphere is OK. I would not go back unless they change their menu to include at least one l vegan option. – additionally their menu does not differentiate between what is vegan, vegetarian, or gluten-free and I think people would appreciate that

Sat down in a booth, got comfortable, and enjoyed a full 15 minutes of absolutely no service. No greeting, no water, no acknowledgment—just quality time with the table. Eventually realized I could’ve stayed longer and aged like a fine wine, but decided to leave instead. If you’re looking for a restaurant where you can practice patience and self-reflection, this is the place. Otherwise… maybe not.

I had the chicken sandwich with the lobster bisque, both tasted great. The sweet slaw on the sandwich really adds a lightness to the dish. My bf got the fried shrimp appetizer pictured here with my lobster bisque, it was also very sweet and a little spicy. Fries were great and we loved the fried fish also. The drinks were good also! The best long islands.

Check out downtown Rocky Road and at a minimum stop here at Burntwood Tavern and find some toys across the street at Once Upon a Time Toys. Inside classic, outside beautiful patio. Food delicious and reasonably priced, and no rush on service so plenty to ponder and order. Extra bonus, Happy Hour pricing was even better. Would be a tip top review regardless but if you can snag Casey for service (C Suite take notice) ask for her if she is free – she is knowledgeable, patient, and sweet. You can’t go wrong hanging out with the love of your life here and strolling/shopping Rocky Road on the shores of Lake Erie. GO!
