Excellent service, delicious, and very reasonable priced. If you are traveling through Paso Robles, Ca. Do yourself a favor and stop here for a bite. Today I ordered the Alaskan roll, and pretty sure the rest of menu is as delicious. I will definitely be back. Highly recommend. Goes well with a cold beer I came back and once again it was a home run!! I will definitely make this sushi restaurant a favorite stop for me! Outstanding service and quality, very reasonable prices and an excellent atmosphere to relax and have a great meal. Stop and treat yourself, highly recommend!

Lacks finesse in their preparation of “Japanese” food. The rolls had too much rice and they put a spicy mustard that needs to go or at least ask the customers if they’d like the house sauce on top. Seems like a spicy mustard from a bottle with sesame oil and sesame seeds. I had to wipe it off all of our rolls with a napkin. M
My son got the teriyaki chicken and complained of it being sour. I tried it and it tasted heavily of yeast. I didn’t dislike it, but I could see how an 11 year old might not like it. It wasn’t terrible but I don’t think I’d come back here.
My youngest got the vegetable udon and there were a ton of vegetables in it and was probably the best thing we got amongst 5 rolls, a teriyaki and a the udon.

If you’re not too familiar with Japanese, this might be an okay place.

This place is my favorite go to!!! Other sushi places in town are either expensive or have a long wait, but food here is always fast and always delicious not meant to be fancy dining but you will leave with a full belly for sure!

$70 for a pickup order.. they put my salad and roll in the same bag with my hot teriyaki bowl and fried shrimp+ soup, now my salad and sushi are warm n’ mushy. Thanks oh and also no utensils or napkins. Kind of makes it hard to enjoy.

Sushi Kokku on first street was really good. We stopped in to order food to go. The young man who took our order was so nice and patient with us as we decided what to get. The chef was very nice too and made our food fast. The Dynamite roll was, well… DYNO-MITE!!!!! I got the Alaska roll too and is was great. My wife had some sashimi and she said it was very fresh and delicious.

This place is very casual and an excellent choice for a quick sushi meal that is great quality and flavor.
