This is just a review of the Kalo Ice Cream. It’s such a great place to have in Barnwell. I appreciate that they have kids’ sized servings and to-go lids for the ice cream. The salted caramel is my absolute favorite flavor, but we have had a few others and they are good, too. It’s your typical ice cream stand with teenagers running the inside, and I have never been here where the workers weren’t gracious, friendly, and helpful. We also love sitting outside on the deck. It’s a great atmosphere with delicious ice cream and good service. You can’t go wrong with those three.

Service was great. Server was really sweet. The food tasted good, but my wings were the smallest I have ever seen!! Looked like nuggets with a small bone. Even the cashier mentioned how small they were and maybe they came from. Baby chick’s! I mean, 8 wings for $12 and the size was not except able! See pictures. The restaurant was clean to include the restrooms.

This is a hidden Gem. If you don’t know about this place YOU DO NOW! Outstanding service and FOOD. Clean with a great atmosphere! My new favorite place in Barnwell. Chef Salad, Onion Rings and Sausage Sub. Had a calzone takeout before. That’s what made us want to come back and eat in.

Went with family to get ice cream. While waiting on ice cream the young lady (who we ordered from) received a friend that brought her a puppy. I believed she was a bit distracted by the excitement a bit. Her guest should have waited until she was done with making our ice cream orders. But perhaps she did her best with everything happening at one time and honestly the restaurant part was not busy so I believe someone should have come out to assist her in that moment. Ice cream was decent.
