One of the coolest bars in the East Bay! Super welcoming vibe, great drinks, and genuinely the nicest bartenders — especially Seth. They don’t serve food, but you can order from the neighboring spots and bring it right in . Always good music, relaxed atmosphere, and a real historical gem in the area. Definitely make your way over when you can — it’s the perfect laid-back bar to be part of.

Update 2025 – the wife and I really enjoy coming here on Saturday nights to dance a bit with live music. There is always a band, a friendly crowd, a pool table, and fire pits on the patio. Open till 1am.

Honestly best hospitality and atmosphere I’ve had in a while. Most times you’re in a big area you don’t get top of the line service bartender David not only took care of us but made us comfortable on the visit. If he’s here will def be back !!

Post Mt Diablo summit hike, sore feet needed a medicinal beverage and the Clayton Club Saloon was just the solution. Live music on a Sunday afternoon with football on the TVs. Great bartender and the decor was a bonus. Solid choice for an afternoon stop.

Great selection of beers on tap while keeping all the stuff that’s made this place special for so long.
Better outdoor space, TVs and new furniture nice upgrade. Good spot to sit back and enjoy a few while watching a game or taking advantage of the shade as it starts to get hot.
