Ordered online but something got messed up. It happens. They were so nice about it and gave me 2 extra tacos and some kind of muffin (?) because I had to wait. It was ALL SO GOOD!! I want to try everything. We had shrimp and chorizo taco, lamb taco and spicy shrimp taco. Also had a burrito. Not one thing was wrong !!

First and most importantly, the food was excellant. There was an issue in that we ordered from the web site and the food was to be delivered to our home through Grubhub. Unfortunately Grubhub dropped the ball and cancelled the order. I called Rene’s and explained what happened, and believe or not, Rene actually deliverd the order personally and gave us extra Flan as compensation for the wait. That is pretty amazing; we are very impressed with Rene’s Mexican Kitchen and will be oredering again soon.

I must admit it has been a long time, much too long since I have had some of Rene’s FABULOUS food. Thankfully, we stumbled across each other at an event in Lakeland yesterday. He litterly parked right beside me. There was no way I even considered the plethora of choices. Rene did not disappoint! 2 FABULOUS tacos, one filet mignon, and a steak and bacon. Both were bursting with flavor and freshness. The salsa that came with it is the best I’ve had!

Absolutely amazing food! Great portions! Great amount of beans and rice! Definitely going to go back to try different tacos but the shrimp, chicken and pork were amazing and I barely eat pork but try it every place I go! Pork is definitely perfectly cooked!

We just had 3 tacos from Rene’s at the Pinellas Park Taco Festival, and I just can’t describe how great the food is. Fresh ingredients and prefect combination and match with flavors. BTW, they won 1st prize for tacos at the festival today.
