A great neighbor wine/beer over 30 pub that’s found success and now has a pretty full menu, food with better than average proportions and entrainment on weekends. Clean, no stairs, informal, and friendly staff. Id give it 5 stars if tonight’s band wasn’t so loud. Marty started this years ago as a wine store and his personality just made it grow. Plenty of free safe parking out back.

A great place! This was one of the selling points when my wife and I moved here to College Hill area. Great wine selection and often wine events( tastings, wine of the month etc). Good rotating beer tap list, often has hard to find craft beer and Mead. Good food selection for a small bite with your beer or wine selection. Staff is always friendly, attentive and helpful. Dine in or to go, your choice. Again a great choice!

This can be a busy place when there is live music, call to reserve a table as you can’t online. The Poulet Rouge pizza is really good, the thin twisted crust is a nice change. They have a great selection of canned beer from micro breweries all over the U.S.; I wish their selection of wines by the glass was larger.

I really want to give this place five stars, the food and service was amazing. BUT, they had live music, and the friends and families of the musicians packed the bar, eating and drinking. Three quarters of the way through their set, the owner, Marty , announced that musicians play for tips only and sent around a basket. What a gross, demeaning experience for talented, skilled artists. You wouldn’t expect your chef to work for tips why would you expect others who are proficient in their craft to do so. Very tacky.

One of my favorite places to eat. I love the food. Wine selection is good. Service is good.
I have two issues with this place.
#1. They charge $10 cork fee per bottle of wine on everyday but Thursday. That’s a crime. They claim that their wine is cheaper than other places so it justifies the cork fee, but that’s simply not true. I can get most of them cheaper at Krogers. I don’t agree with being penalized $10 per bottle to drink it there. Therefore I rarely go there any longer unless it’s a Thursday. They could at least cut it back to one $10 fee per night.
#2. When they have a live band they bring the tip jar around to each table and expect you to tip the band. I know where the tip jar is and I usually tip the band, but I don’t like how they somewhat force you to tip them by bringing it to your table. Especially when I’m trying to eat my food.

Our Adult Reading Book Club met here. This was everyone’s first time visiting this location. Great food, great atmosphere and excellent service. We are looking forward to returning for our Ladies night out. Marty’s house salad and the Adult grilled cheese, are worth the purchase.

Great beer and wine bar in College Hill! Rotating draft and wine options, weekly food specials and THE BEST Cuban sandwich I’ve ever had in Cincinnati. So authentic — having never been to Cuba, Key West is the only other place I’ve had a sandwich that good.
Music on the weekends and during the week can be very chill or kinda raucous, but the atmosphere is always welcoming and the staff are helpful with recommendations and offer fantastic service.
