So the bartender at Srable Reserve recommended this place as an option to grab a beer and watch the UT Vols football game. Can’t rate the food as we did not try any. The waitress was very friendly and attentive for being the only one. She brought us a few samples and kept our waters filled. There was a decent selection of beers on tap. The atmosphere was that of a small pub, what else can I say! It is what it is… So, when you find yourself in the area stop by and have a beer or 2, I don’t think you’ll be disappointed.

Stopped in one night when visiting Franklin. We heard someone order the spaghetti grilled cheese and decided to be copycats and split one. It was delicious! We also really enjoyed the Haus Pilsner and the Pitch Lager.

The staff were very friendly. I wasn’t expecting good food at a tavern-style restaurant. I was stand corrected. It might have been the best I’ve had at this style of restaurant – tavern, bar etc. it did not disappoint. The appetizers were far tastier and superior to similar places I’ve been. We also tried a couple different sandwiches which were just simply amazing.

Austin was AWESOME. He was kind, accommodating, and welcoming. Everyone was! Incredible service and great vibes. I was told it’s typically busier than when my boyfriend and I visited. But even if it was packed I’d happily come again! There’s good bar seating or some table seating at the entrance as well. It’s a true little jewel. They now offer cocktails!!! The cocktails are better than nearby establishments- in my humble opinion. They may not “look” as nice aesthetically but they are wayyyyy better mixed, balanced, and flavorful! They taste GREAT and are not watered down and disappointing like cocktail bars nearby that charge $$$. My boyfriend and I ordered The Bees Knees, Whiskey Sour, and the Espresso Martini.
They have an amazing array of beers ALL from local distilleries here in Tennessee. Impressive selection of IPAs too! There’s so much about this place I was pleased with just upon my first visit. My boyfriend and I eat out nearby here often and are excited to go back to Hop House and order food here too.
They have sports playing and I loved being able to watch some soccer. Even if a sports bar isn’t your top pick, please go check it out. It’s special. It’s laid back yet bursting with energy. So wonderful! Go check it out!

Server was great! Pretzel sticks were amazing and that beer cheese was delicious. The truffle burger was definitely the down fall. I was instantly worried once they didn’t ask how I wanted it to be cooked. Meaning it was going to be a frozen burger patty. The truffle oil was barely present. But still a 4 star place. Great beer choices, and lots of laughter in the atmosphere.

This place has a great selection and even non alcoholic beers. We stopped buy to eat have some good beer. Unfortunately this is not a place for a group very few tables and even less room. Huge bar though the beer we did get was great and the bartender new how to poor them. He also gave advice for our group to eat hopefully we will get to come back soon.

Thank you for opening a great beer bar in Franklin! The selection is fantastic and seems to change every time we go. The variety of TN beers is excellent. Service is very friendly and the atmosphere makes it the type of place you can stay for hours. Appetizers are tasty (yummy beer cheese pretzels!!) and food isn’t bad either. There is definitely some welcome creativity on the menu.

I had smoked chicken skewers & wife had Hop lobster roll to eat. I enjoyed 2 IPAs, including the Smith & Lentz Team US Haze IPA and Half Batch Street Sweeper Juicy IPA. Nice atmosphere and service. Enjoyed this hole in the wall in Franklin #Tennessee
