My 5 year old wanted to go to Pizza Express however when we got there the bookings were lost…we phoned up La Famiglia & the moment they said yes everything was perfect. As it was busy, the food was slightly late but the food was just delicious & frankly much better than Pizza Express (so def worth waiting for). They noticed my little one wearing a birthday badge & despite it being full they surprised us all with a wee cake/song which was very sweet! Will def going again & recommend seafood!

Our first visit to this Italian, my wife fancied some seafood and she was not disappointed… I went for the Veal, it was nice but yet again I ended up with food envy. Being mid January it was very quiet, literally just one other table in use. Staff were excellent, it’s a family run business and they genuinely care, very friendly, very helpful with your choice and food was timely and excellent quality. Decor is really nice. Cost is reasonable and we’ll certainly be visiting again soon.

So I have been past so many times thinking s as about popping in and I’m so glad I did, the pizzas were exactly what we wanted, really nicely presented and soft drinks so can’t really comment on the full range but looks good, the man who served us was very kind allowing the dogs to sit with us and the price was very good so it’s a big thumbs up. I will be back!

**La Famiglia Italian Restaurant – A Pleasant Family Dining Experience**
I recently visited La Famiglia Italian Restaurant and had an overall pleasant experience, though there were a few areas that could be improved.
To start, we ordered garlic bread and bruschetta, which were absolutely fantastic! The garlic bread was perfectly crispy, and the bruschetta was fresh and flavorful—definitely a highlight of the meal. However, the main course, a classic lasagne, was a bit of a letdown. It took quite a long time to arrive from the kitchen, and when it did, it was just okay—not bad, but nothing particularly memorable.
What stood out most, though, was the service. The two youngsters running the front of house were brilliant—friendly, attentive, and genuinely made us feel welcome. It was refreshing to see such great service, especially from such a young team.
Overall, La Famiglia is a nice spot for a family meal. While it might not be the best Italian restaurant I’ve been to, it’s still a solid choice for a relaxed evening out. With a bit of work on the timing and consistency of the main dishes, it could easily become a go-to local favorite.

Amazibg food and customer service! Best Italian I have been in the UK. Highly recommend. The interior was amazing felt very safe and clean and safety measures for COVID did not take from the experience and amazing quality.

Really lovely food and a nice atmosphere. Plenty of parking. Although the service was quite slow especially as we had pre-ordered. Spaghetti seafood was delicious ! Good gluten free options
