I had the Shrimp Quesadilla. It was ok and I enjoyed it. However, I wasn’t happy with the atmosphere. One type of music was playing in the dining room and one in the kitchen. It was a strange type of noise pollution. I ate my food in the dining area, but left in a hurry.

This is a really small taco joint, but the prices are good and the food is fresh. Been here many times, and love their breakfast tacos (they have window side service). The owner/operator is a super nice person! This is the kind of place that definitely needs to stay in the neighborhood. We all need a neighborhood taqueira! The only issue of course is no free parking on the street. Highly recommended – as a casual, no frills places for good, inexpensive eats.

Amaaaaaaazing quesa birria tacos & consome. I like that you can purchase individual tacos so you can get the number you want. We wanted to drink the consome like soup! Not too salty either, perfect . Tasty warm chips too. They’re also SO nice here. When we left, everyone said goodbye, even the cooks. A nice break from the Seattle freeze attitude. I’ll be telling everyone about this place forever ❤️

gave this restaurant a try because of the great reviews but cannot for the life of me understand how it has such a high rating.
The chips were stale, the salsa tasted like salt water with a hint of tomato, and my birria tacos were lame at best. Not to mention it took the lady at the counter awhile to look up from her phone to take our order.

I went to Tacos El Lago this morning, everything was delicious! I really loved the shrimp tacos. Service was excellent even though there was only one person serving and it was very busy. She treated us great with a smile the whole time.

The tacos and burritos here are legit delicious, and they’ve got tons of vegetarian options which is awesome. But seriously, save room for dessert because their tres leches cake is TO DIE FOR. Like, ridiculously good.
Great vibe too – casual but really nice atmosphere. This place has become my new favorite spot. Definitely recommend!

Not seeing any reason for such good ratings here. Between the tiny and relatively bland tacos, stale chips (which you get charged for) and less than welcoming service (service with a chip on their shoulder), I’m not getting why this places rates well.
