This is my favorite weekend lunch-late lunch spot. This visit we ordered the special spicy Chongqing Style Fried Fish, A-chong greens in garlic, and mapo tofu (vegetarian). The fish comes out in its own serving platter with the fire underneath to keep it near-boiling. There must have been five different types of pepper—fresh, pickled, fried/dried.. the potato, lotus, wood ear, and long bean sprouts.. and cauliflower and peanuts (used sparingly) were so well balanced. Owners are always friendly and accommodating.. it’s a far drive out for us, but well worth the trek.

We decided to visit this restaurant after recent took out orders. Clean restaurant and generous portion but our selection was mediocre. Our claypot spare ribs have great portion but that was not the taste I was looking for, too peppery, I think missing ginger and garlic. I was looking for a comfort food experience on a cool night. The beef was light and flavorful.

Our table near us order orange chicken and it smelled wonderful and appetizing. Maybe we need to revisit to order something different.

Very good food, authentic Sichuan style cuisine. I think its the best Sichuan style here in dfw. Recommend the fresh steam fish. Owner nice. Food comes out quickly.

Hidden gem alert! We walked in on a Saturday night and practically had the place to ourselves (in the best way possible). No fighting for tables, no long waits, just quick service and plates of food that tasted like someone’s grandma was in the kitchen. Family-style portions, staff treats you like cousins, and dishes out the kitchen piping hot. Honestly, if you’ve got a hungry crew and zero patience, and you’re in the area, this is THE spot. If you’re looking for ambiance and more of a social dining experience, I’d say probably go elsewhere but if you want a no fuss and in a “I need food now” mood, it’s a good one.

We visited for dinner and ordered Chicken in Garlic Sauce, a Shrimp with Vegetables dish, and A-Choy. The food was fresh and tasty. Some of the wait staff didn’t speak English well, but others do so we were still able to order. Nice people here. Worth checking out!

Flavorful Sichuan style Chinese food. Quantity was appropriate for the price, although the beef dish was the most expensive and for this I would’ve expected more.
Got: Thinly sliced beef with pepper, pork with bamboo shoots, combination fried rice, and fish with salt & pepper. Also got fried rice cake with brown sugar syrup.
My favorite dish was the fish with salt & pepper, it was perfectly crispy and seasoned.
The pork and beef were too salty for my liking, and are best eaten with white rice which I unfortunately didn’t have since it cost $1 for and I didn’t want to spend extra money on rice if I was gonna have fried rice.
Fried Rice was a huge quantity but it correlated well with the asking price so I can’t be upset with it but I did wish for a little more meat, but overall flavor was fine.
The service was good and the workers were attentive.
The fried rice cake wasn’t as great as I was expecting. I would’ve wanted a crisper exterior with the mushy, soft interior, inside the outside was still pretty soft. The brown sugar syrup was too sweet for my liking and I wanted to have it watered down.
Overall, a nice place to try.

We enjoyed the pigs snout, Dan Dan noodle and jelly dessert, but kidney we ordered was so smelly that I had to send it back. I have had pork kidney before and understand it has a certain smell but not to this extent. They seem bothered by my request but accommodated anyways which I appreciated. It was subbed by orange chicken, not to our liking unfortunately. Inside the restaurant feels a bit humid and the customer service was barely there, they were eating the same time we were eating there.

The service was friendly and the food came out incredibly fast. Everything tasted amazing!! The green beans and cucumbers were fresh, the chicken was crispy, and the noodles were rich. I can’t wait to come back.

Absolutely delicious food with options for all spice tolerances! Bathed in a cozy, quiet and warm atmosphere. Id recommend this place a thousand times over 😀

We ordered Wontons tossed in chilli oil, Spicy & sour soup and Mongolian beef- all of which were generously portioned and arrived very quickly 🙂

Everything tasted amazing and made lovingly. This place had very little foot traffic, only the occasional stream of people in and out which was upsetting because everything was just so. GOOD.

Unfortunately there isnt much waitstaff (however, the staff they DO have are very polite and kind), so you can’t expect to be constantly tended to- but the quality of food is worth it to not always have a full glass of water.

Definitely coming back, give this place a shot for affordable, unique, spicy food <3
