This taco shop is sooo good! I completely fell in love with their guacamole sauce and those huge burritos — seriously delicious. I usually get their tacos, but honestly, I could eat here almost every day when I’m in the area.
I also love that they have DoorDash and a drive-thru, which makes it super convenient. Definitely way better than Muchas Gracias in my opinion! Plus, they’re open late (until around 11 PM), so it’s perfect for a late-night craving. Their aguas frescas are super refreshing, and their flan dessert is a total 10/10 — sweet, creamy, and absolutely perfect to finish off your meal.

I came here with my honey, was happily surprised. The food was super good seemed very authentic The food did not seem like a fast food food. It seemed like a very nice restaurant. The service was great And it was clean inside was happily surprised in my first time being in this place, but I’ll definitely be back

I eat here all the time I love this place. Everything I’ve had here is delicious except the Menudo. It’s terrible. It tasted like hot water, chili powder with tripe no hominy no flavor
very disappointed.

Would it be an overstatement to say this was one of the best meals of my life? Anyways, the taquitos were perfectly crispy and bursting with flavor thanks to the beef that can only be described as perfection. The California burrito was also perfect. Good meat, cheese, fries. My Mom and I may have to move into Lucy’s Taco Shop.

Lucy’s Taco Shop is one of my absolute favorite places in Phoenix! Their tacos are so tasty, and the chips and salsa are just perfect every time. The service is always so friendly and quick, and I love how consistent they are. They’re open bright and early and stay open late, which is so convenient. Their drinks are delicious, the prices are great, and it’s become my little weekly treat. Highly recommend stopping by!

This place is in the old Jack in The Box in Phoenix. So ambience is not the greatest, but oh my God. The food is incredible. I had the Chile verde combination plate. It was amazing. The pork was more like shredded, than chunks that I have had. But the flavor and tenderness was exceptional. It came with rice, frijoles, shredded fresh lettuce and flour tortillas that I thought were home made. $14.50, and ended up being two meals for me. What a great find. I will be a regular for sure.

My first time eating here after wanting to try for so long! We got the super nachos with chicken added and a Cali burrito….SO FIRE. Literally so so good it was something I was missing from the Bay Area and it hit the spot. You can tell they make everything fresh and delicious. The chips were perfectly crispy and the nachos were layered with everything in every bite. 10/10 coming back. OH and the horchata 100/10!

The price is amazing, served incredibly fast but always on point. I’ve been going here more often simply because there reliable and I love that more than anything. I also noticed the staff gets along well and that’s always a nice touch and a kitchen!

Hit or miss experience
I came back to Lucy’s Taco Shop because I previously had the asada burrito and rolled tacos, which were great. This time, I tried the lengua soft taco—also good—but the two-taco combo was disappointing. I wasn’t offered a soft taco option, and both the shredded beef and carnitas tacos were dry. The carnitas was a little too crispy, and the shell felt overcooked, more like a tostada. On the plus side, their horchata is really good. I’ll definitely stick to the asada burrito, rolled tacos, and horchata next time.

Tried the carne asada, adobado (sp?), and quesabirria.. All were fantastic! The atmosphere is so-so but the food makes it worth it! Will definitely be back next time we’re in the area and craving authentic Mexican.
