My mother and I stumbled across this hidden gem yesterday. The lady I believe to be an owner was very nice and attentive. The lady that took our order was very patient given that we were both indecisive. The catfish was good however we did not prefer the tartar sauce. The greens were on the salty side and the Mac and cheese was ok. I definitely recommend giving them a try. I plan to return and try their shrimp and grits soon.

So I made reservations for my mother’s 71st birthday base off of the excellent TikTok reviews. And it was everything the reviews said and more. If I could give it a 10 ⭐️ I absolutely would.

Hubby and I were looking for a place to eat after running some errands. We were in Arlington and I was searching to see what other options besides the ones we usually go to were available. I stumbled across Spice and Gravy, read a few reviews and we beelined it there. They don’t disappoint! I have fish, greens and Mac n cheese, hubby had smothered chicken with mashed potatoes and gravy with greens and cornbread. Food came our nice and hot and Euphoric is the only way to describe how the food left you after the first few bites!!!! You can tell this food was made with love and care. It took me back to my childhood and family gatherings during the holidays. A nice comforting hug that can make a bad day good. The food is simply delicious!!!!! I ended up ordering three to go meals and one of each dessert! I’ll definitely be back. Thanks for the hospitality and warmth.

So delicious! This was my first visit and it did not disappoint. I got the lemon pepper chicken with grits and added on greens, mac&cheese to go. Smelled so good I wanted to eat in the car. It was delicious, this my a new favorite place. The inside of the restaurant was very clean, cute and welcoming, friendly service. I would like to return.

This place exceeded my expectations! From the appearance, to the food, & the service. Attention was definitely placed on the finest of detail. They’re EXTREMELY clean. It’s black owned with the black love of a retired married couple. I recommend going whether it’s with a group of ppl, a brunch date or even going solo. I’ll definitely be back! I honestly had no expectations coming here but to my surprise this place was amazing. Had the smothered pattie, 10 out of 10. The Mac and cheese was the best I’ve had in the metro plex hands down. Sweet potatoes were ok but they did something different that I’m not a huge fan of. The tater kegs were dif than what I expected but I like their spin on them. The jal cornbread was great, tasted homemade. The service was warm and welcoming. Not overly engaging but just enough to make you feel like a valued customer. The place is small but the ambiance makes up for its size. Warm lighting and great soft jazz music was playing on my visit. Good food and good atmosphere. Will DEFINITELY be back.

I’m glad I was able to eat in this new restaurant. Mary & Reggie displayed great customer service skills and the food was great. They were so welcoming. I tried the shrimp & grits, catfish, and my friend had the chicken and waffles. I’m not a fan of the chicken & waffle combo, I have to say, after taking a taste of my friends, this place has truly changed my mind. I apologize I didn’t get the picture of the chicken and waffles..The flavor was amazing My new favorite place. I can’t wait to see you guys again. Keep up the great work..

I absolutely enjoyed my entire experience at this eatery! The ambiance and customer service was very warm and welcoming. The food was absolutely amazing, great flavor, and everything came out fresh! This is some of the best food I have had in this area. I will definitely be back to try more of there dishes.
