Hi, We have visited this restaurant many times before, but today’s experience was extremely disappointing. The service we received from one of the staff members was very pathetic
When we entered the restaurant, she didn’t greet or acknowledge us at all and kept pretending to be extremely busy. We waited for about 20 minutes, and eventually my husband had to go to the counter himself to pick up a menu card.
After another 10 minutes, I even called her to take our order, but she never came. We waited another 10 minutes and finally decided to leave and go to another restaurant.
The most surprising part was that she clearly saw us leaving but didn’t bother to ask why we were leaving or say even a simple courtesy word.
We felt very disrespected and insulted by the way we were treated, especially since I am pregnant and was already hungry and tired. This was not the level of service we expected from a place we have visited many times before.
Unfortunately, after today’s experience, I would not recommend this restaurant or visit again. There are many other places where customers are treated with basic courtesy and respect.

A perfect find out during my short visit in Gotenburg, Sweden. I have been searching for a good Indian Restaurant at the time of visit & found this restaurant one day. I was totally happy with the shops, it’s rates & friendly staffs behaviour.
Since I was new to the city, I found the food here really satisfying & the hospitality I received during all my visits were really appreciable.
Definitely I recommend it to all who visits Gothenburg. Check for timings before you visit……..

Tasty Food and Friendly People!
Masala Curry is one of my favourite places to eat. I often go there with my friend or family. My son loves their chicken pakoda it’s his all time favourite.
What I like most is that they always ask me about my taste and spice level before cooking. If I say I want it spicy, they make it just how I like sometimes even better than I expected.
Last time, I tried their lamb curry with extra spices and raw onion on top. It was super tasty full of flavour.
The best part is, they really care about the customer. Not just business. That’s why I love going there again and again.
If you like good food and friendly service, you must try Masala Curry!

I had butter chicken and garlic naan, and both were absolutely delicious! The butter chicken was creamy, flavorful and perfectly spiced, while the garlic naan was soft, fresh and had just the right amount of garlic. The combination made for a really satisfying meal. Definitely a place I’d recommend for anyone craving authentic flavors

Our favorite Indian restaurant! Found it by accident when road-tripping by Alingsås. The food was so delicious, so I had to ask if they operate more restaurants. Sure did, the owner mentioned he has a couple in Gbg.

Have ordered Palak Paneer and I’m not sure if it was made of Spinach. Didn’t like the food and had to waste more than half of the portion. Even the garlic naan was not good either.

I ordered take-away yesterday evening. The waiting was supposed to be ~25min. When I got there I had to wait another 10mins as the orders got mixed up. At home I noticed a black hair in the Tikka Masala. I understand that it can happen, but it would be great if this could be checked before the food is handed out as this was obvious and unappetizing.
