Finally decided to try this place, as my wife really wanted pasta. We love all of the other restaurants in this group! We arrived and the right side of the restaurant was loud and busy and the left side had one table, but it was a large table. We got sat right away, but we didn’t see a server for about 15 minutes. We almost left, it was so long. She finally took our drink order and we ordered some garlic knots. About the time we finished our knots, she took our dinner order and then we ordered another drink. I ordered a pizza and my wife got Shrimp Scampi. 30 minutes later the pizza comes out and then I’m told they ran out of the wine I wanted. I then order a different kind of wine. It should have come out on the fly, but I ate 2 pieces of pizza and then cancelled my wine order and asked for the bill.
Overall, we thought the food was really good. While the server was nice, it was one of the worst services we’ve experienced and we eat out a LOT! She just hung us out to try numerous times. Maybe they were short handed and she had too many tables, I don’t know. We’ve made the decision to only order carry out pizzas going forward.

No food pics yet it was splendid! Ordered the chicken piccata and Caesar salad special which was delicious ( with asparagus, prosciutto). They were out of limoncello ~ next time! Enjoyed a piece of cannoli cake. Excellent service. Thank you for a lovely evening. Perfect after the Chiaroscuro film at Wealthy theater. Missing Italy .

The amazing staff accommodated our party of six without a reservation on our last minute Friday night visit within minutes.
Rather than giving us a statement of it’s going to be awhile from a nearby restaurant.
I wish I could remember our servers name, she was amazing.
Our entire party ordered something different no one was disappointed. In true Italian fashion a lot of loud laughter and very good entertainment. Can not wait for my next visit.

Nice Italian restaurant in Wealthy district. I had the chicken parmesan. Was really happy that they offered spaghetti squash as a substitute for regular noodles at no extra charge. Will come back.

I LOVE this place! The food, the people, the atmosphere, the prices, the quality! Pure, unadulterated Italian cuisine. The GM. “Jo” is a fantastic cook and better human being! Her staff loves her and it shows! Ask for Desi, or Parker with fantastic drink selections and the WINE… Italian only, and worth every penny. Don’t miss the live music…. I love this place!

We started with fried mozz-OMG! Then had shrimp scampi and spaghetti w/ meatballs.
Molly was our server and she was great. We had an issue of too much olive oil on/in(?) the knotted bread rolls, so we weren’t charged for those.
The tiramisu was off. the. chain! We will def return!

Testa Rossa is a real gem on Wealthy Street, bringing that authentic Italian vibe right to the heart of the Midwest. From the moment we walked in, it was clear that this place is something special. The ambiance is beautiful, with a warm and inviting atmosphere that makes you feel like you’ve stepped into a cozy Italian trattoria.
We went there for dinner, and even though we arrived a bit later in the evening, the service didn’t miss a beat. The staff was friendly, attentive, and quick to get us settled in, which was much appreciated.
We started off with some fantastic appetizers—fried octopus and pizza bread knots. The octopus was perfectly cooked, tender with a nice crispy finish, and the pizza bread knots were a hit—warm, fresh, and loaded with flavor.
For the main course, we went big with two large pizzas. One was a classic meatball pizza, and the other was a unique white sauce and potato pizza. Both were excellent. The ingredients were fresh, and you could tell the pizzas were made with care. The meatball pizza was hearty and satisfying, while the white sauce and potato pizza offered a nice, creamy twist that was surprisingly good.
The portions were generous, so much so that we ended up taking a good portion of it home. And let me tell you, it was just as delicious the next day—always a sign of quality.
Overall, Testa Rossa is an awesome spot. The combination of great food, a welcoming atmosphere, and top-notch service makes it a place we’re definitely looking forward to visiting again. Whether you’re in the mood for a full dinner or just want to enjoy some good Italian food, Testa Rossa has got you covered. It’s a solid 5-star experience, and we can’t wait to go back and try more.

Been here a few times previously and had good but not great experiences – went again tonight and everything was amazing. A lot more flavor, good additions to the menu, and everything tasted so fresh and amazing. Not sure if something has changed or if they just are hitting their groove- but if you’ve been before and had reservations, would highly recommend going back.
Also, love the live music!

We’ve been wanting to try this place and it did not disappoint. We had a party of 5 and everything was delicious. Service was a little slow, especially since there were only 3 tables seated, but the food more than made up for it.
*update* we ordered garlic flat bread to go on another visit. I don’t recommend that. It was absolutely not cooked through and there was a “dough pull”. We are chalking this up to almost being closing time.
