My boyfriend and I came to Wissota Chop House for an early Valentine’s Day dinner, and I’m honestly speechless at how incredible everything was. From start to finish, the experience was flawless.
We started by splitting the Rockefeller oysters—huge and absolutely delicious. The Mediterranean flatbread had the most amazing pesto flavor, and the Wagyu burger was unbelievably juicy and perfectly cooked. I also ordered an espresso martini, and hands-down, it was the best one I’ve ever had in my life.
Our server, Jack, was pleasant, attentive, and made the whole evening feel special. He even surprised us with a dessert to share—the raspberry tiramisu was made from scratch and we finished every bite. Thankful for how kind he was.
Overall, we were so impressed with the food, service, and atmosphere. We’ll definitely be back and can’t wait to bring our family here for another amazing, tasteful dining experience.

We had been here twice and felt it was fine but definitely overpriced. But we really WANT to like it so we came back a 3rd time on Valentine’s Day.
First, our waitress was clearly distracted. Every time she came to or table she kept looking everywhere else except for us. At a restaurant this pricey or really any place, that’s unacceptable.
Maybe we would have looked past that if our main course didn’t arrive before our Caesar salad. When we asked about it she apologized and said let me go check. When we debated if we even still wanted it or not she said she would go check on it. When she brought it she said she would discount our drinks. It accounted to $4 off an $11 salad that we didn’t even really want anymore.
We would have even looked past that except the food was…average. At best. We got brussel sprouts as a side dish. They were ok. The mashed potatoes were legit very good. But the real problem? We both got filets and they were below average. For $64 a pop that’s really not cool.
They were underdone which I could mostly get past but the real issue was they were virtually flavorless and no sear. I’m not a chef but I can cook a significantly better steak at home with a beautiful crusted and flavorful sear on my Blackstone. They were tender but these were some of the least flavorful steaks we’ve ever had.
I will say the chocolate cake was ridiculously good. Like outstanding. Worth a trip just for that. But for the price you pay, we will absolutely not be back after our 3rd try when there are so many other great options that are less expensive.

Our server Jack was wonderful. Due to the weather it was a pretty slow night. He is one of the best servers I have had in years. The food did not disappoint. It was so good I ate so much I was stuffed. The flavors were there in every bite. The amount spent was for appetizer, soups, main, sides, wine and dessert. Worth every penny.

Our first time at Wissota Chophouse and we will definitely come back! Good service and great food! We shared the roasted brussel sprouts and I had the walnut-bean burger – both were delicious.
My husband’s waygu burger was also excellent.

Was really looking forward to New Years Dinner at Wissota Chophouse we got there at 6:45 for our 7:00 reservation and was told it would be a little bit because our server had not gotten there yet! We were ok with waiting a nice boy (assume the host) came and took our drink order after we waited 25 minutes for my drink they finally came and told me they did not have the ingredients needed for the lemon martini, oh well I ordered another drink no big deal. We ordered 2 apps. 1 of which never came because “the kitchen lost the ticket” we never were asked for drink refills one time nor were we asked how our food was in which we could have shared that we still had not received the appetizer. We spent $350 on a meal that we were looking forward to spend with the family and because of the poor service and cold and missing food we missed out on an amazing New Years Dinner. We will not be back and will not recommend this place to anybody. Also. We understand it was New Years Eve but it did not seem overly busy to make this acceptable.

We went to Wissota for a New Years Eve dinner with a party of six. Reservation were at 7:30pm. We got there around 7:15pm. The hostess had us sit at a table in the bar area. We ordered our drinks. Another couple came and sat next to us 15mins later. They got water and their drinks before us. It took 25mins to get our drinks and we got no water. We finally got to our table around 8:15pm. Our waitress brought the wrong drinks twice. I asked her if she could put my wife and I on one bill, and the other couples on their own. She said she would divide it up at the end. I said okay. When the bills came, they were all messed up. One of our guests asked for a steak medium well, it came raw. Asked if the chef could put it back on the grill, no problem. After 5mins, her steak came back looking the exact same, medium rare. For the price of the food, the service should be excellent. The median age of the work staff looked like 21. No leader out there. I wasn’t impressed. We didn’t end up leaving until after 10pm. A 3hr experience was a bit much.
The bathrooms are shared with the hotel. Both male and female bathrooms, the garbage was overflowing onto the floor, and both bathrooms were out of toilet paper.

Very pleased to have spent my birthday at this amazing new location. The food and service here was absolutely spectacular. It is definitely on the expensive side but it is also a treat you should give yourself. I highly recommend this spot for anyone who’s looking to go “all out” for a night. Amazing choices of wine and mouthwatering steaks. I had to pleasure to enjoy their A5 Japanese Wagu Beef, which was a lifetime opportunity that will forever be a wonderful memory.

Portions were perfect because I dont like carrying half my meal home. My Sea Bass was so delicate and cooked all the way through. The 12 oz. dry aged bone-in tenderloin was not dry at all. The chocolate cake is huge and can feed more than two people. It was the best chocolate cake and I would defintely go back. Everything is a bit more expensive but the quality of the food is worth it.
