This place has the best tasting donuts in Mississippi. You have to get there early, because they will sell out. It’s a bit of a drive for us, but always worth it.

I wanted to make sure I tried this bakery multiple times before leaving a review. All 3 times was a disappointment.
From the prices ($4.39 for 3 very dry donuts), the customer service, and baked goods being very dry with exception of icing. We’ve tried donuts, king cakes and pastries.
The donuts are some of the driest I have ever had. The prices are down right ridiculous. It’s what I would expect in a very touristy town, but not a small town like Vancleave.
The king cake. Just save your money next year. Not only does the owner not care if you’re not satisfied, but won’t even offer an apology for the inedible pastry that once again is over priced, especially for a product they are new to making and admit it without caring the product is awful.
Overall this establishment is a disappointment. Prices are too high for the quality of food they are serving, and the owner has the worst customer service I’ve ever seen.

I have to pace myself when I visit. This place is delightful and a wonderful local treat! I love their cinnamon knots! The service is wonderful and I love the selection of treats! It’s best to get there early before they sell out!

So I ordered a strawberry cake (same one that was bought from them a while back and even sent the pic in the message)…I ordered this cake for our family and extended families Christmas dinner. I knew the one that was purchased from them a while back was nothing short of amazing…so I sent my husband to pick up the cake and when he got hm no strawberries on the top..the icing looked butchered so I sent them a message bc their #listed is out of service and I guess they don’t know how to update their social media pg w the correct working#. I said this cake is a skeleton of the pic I sent to you, no strawberries on the top, no icing around the top so I thought, no biggie I will go get some strawberries and place myself. I just knew the cake would taste so moist and delicious and no one would even notice the imperfections….WRONG!!!! THE CAKE WAS HORRID, DRY AS CRUMBLED UP CORNBREAD, AND ICING TASTED OFF LIKE “NOT” LIKE STRAWBERRY.. I ate a couple of bites and several people got a slice and oh boy did I hear it from them that was the worst cake ever…soooo, I left them a message stating the cake was a disaster and that I was extremely disappointed, but NO RESPONSE….so DONT BUY CAKES FROM BLUEBIRD BAKERY IN VANCLEAVE ! BAD CAKES, BAD BUSINESS

Drove 35 minutes for out of stock items at 8am, not much to choose from and ended up with stuff we did not want. Even the wife did not like the danish which surprised me. One time experience for us, We won’t be going back!
