Awesome BBQ right across from the Loves Truck Stop. Parked my semi at the loves and walked across to this little spot. They have a big open area with tables and outdoor heaters. They have a drink station featuring ice cold bottle beverages and a iced tea station with both sweet and unsweet tea available (free refills on the tea). They have free wifi for truckers. Oh and did I mention really awesome BBQ?

This place has awesome barbecue pork ribs, the meat was falling off the bone. It was so good and juicy. It was only $25 for a slab of ribs!! Currently they are only open Thursday, Friday and Saturday.

Great bbq stand, right next to Love’s. I ordered a two meat plate with pulled pork and brisket. I got coleslaw and baked beans for my included sides. I paid $20 for the food.
Meat was great. Tender, succulent, delicious. Both were lean with just the right amount of fat for my taste and preferences. Not a lot of seasoning either, so very meaty.
Sides were okay. The coleslaw had too much mayonnaise for my taste; very creamy. I prefer a balanced mix of mayonnaise and vinegar. The baked beans were good. Flavorful and a little spicy, had some peppers in it. The bread roll was bad. I think it was one of those frozen types. I’d recommend just giving out cheap white bread.
BBQ sauce tasted store-bought; if it’s homemade, I can’t tell. Traditional sweet style, like Sweet Baby Ray’s. Honestly, they should pair the meat with a vinegar-based sauce, like Carolina-style, to help balance the richness of the meat. That would be insanely good.
Service was great, ladies were very nice. I didn’t stay and eat but the seating and environment was good. They didn’t have all the sides and drinks on the menu available; no big deal to me though.
I will be back for more. I would probably just go for the meat by the pound and skip the sides next time.

Way better options than the McDonald’s inside loves. I’m a barbecue fan, I try it all over the country and I’ll say they have some killer ribs here. I had a brisket sandwich and wasn’t impressed. The brisket didn’t have a good flavor, almost like it was cooked while the wood was not fully smoking or they add something to it. I’m not sure but it wasn’t good. The fries were hot and seasoned well, crispy! Next time I’ll get a rib plate and try some other sides.

My husband and I are truck drivers and we were coming to the Love’s for our shift change. I saw the smoke from their smoker and once we were parked I pulled up Google to see what was cooking….saw the reviews were great and the pictures looked yummy so we decided to come across the street and we’re SOOO GLAD we did!
I got the rib plate with potato salad and cowboy baked beans! The potato salad didn’t look like what I normally like in a potato salad….but….it was absolutely Amazing I am well pleased I tried it!! The beans were good…and the ribs…LAWD the ribs truly was fall off the bone perfection!!!!!!
My husband had the chicken plate with the beans and fries….his chicken disappeared quickly and the fries were seasoned so well he didn’t even use ketchup!
If we’re back in this area at a time they’re open we will ABSOLUTELY BE BACK!!!!!!!

This place here is a God sent for truckers. The food is incredible and the staff is friendly & polite. Make you feel right at home. So truckers if you are looking for some good food besides the McDonald’s walk across the street. They are located across the street from the love’s truckstop in Sandersville MS. Exit 104
