My wife and I came here today, it was our first time. I loved the vermicelli bowl. My wife ordered the pho and did not like it. Not because it was bad, she just wasnt used to the flavors. The staff was extremely understanding and we were able to get her something else. I was very happy with the customer service, they were wonderful and the food was great!!

We tried Pho 813 Orlando for the first time and loved everything about it! The staff and new owners were so kind and attentive. The chicken wings were juicy and big, and the fresh spring rolls were the perfect size and so fresh! We had a grilled beef vermicelli bowl, and every bite was yummy – the veggies and pickled dikon and carrots added the perfect crunch. We also had wonton noodle soup, which was the star of lunch. The broth was so flavorful, you can tell a lot of love was put into it. We will be back for more, 100% recommend!

I’ve had virtually every banh mi in Orlando at this point, and this is definitely in the top tier of what I’ve had! All the meats were high quality, the veggies were fresh, and the housemade pate and mayo were perfect! The baguette wasn’t quite crusty enough, but it was still quite good. Overall I was very very happy, and I would be thrilled to dine here again in the future!

The quality of the meats on the pho especially the brisket was outstanding. My main feedback is that the pho broth leaned heavily toward sweet, and I would have preferred a more savory balance. The accompanying vegetable plate was quite small, I ended up needing to ask for a second plate, as it was smaller than the standard portion offered at similar restaurants.

I’ve eaten here a few times already
Every dish hits different but my #1 favorite is Thai noodle soup (bún thái) — spicy, flavorful broth loaded with toppings If you’re a fan of sour & spicy, you have to try this one.
Grilled pork spring rolls and shrimp & pork spring rolls are super fresh, and the dipping sauce is literally addictive
Southern-style pho is rich, sweet, and super comforting
Vietnamese grilled pork banh mi? Crispy outside, juicy inside, with pickled veggies — best one in Orlando, no cap
Other dishes like satay noodle soup, wonton soup, crispy chicken, fried egg rolls, and fish noodle soup all bussin’ generous portions, good price
Oh and don’t sleep on the Thai green milk tea — creamy, strong flavor, 10/10

Staff here are so friendly and attentive, service on point
Space is modern, clean, comfy tables, perfect spot for lunch or casual dinner

Overall, this place is a total gem — 10/10 food, 10/10 service, 10/10 vibe

This place is under new management.
Took the fam for late lunch & we all left full & very happy. The food portion is very reasonable & has plenty of meat. I ordered the vermicelli (posted pic) & the fam ordered the rare steak phó.
Our server was very attentive and place was clean.
I recommend this place.

The service was top notch. My wife couldn’t decide and the server sat walked her through several ideas and she finally ordered the bun vermicelli sliced pork and she loved it. I ordered the beef stew and it was absolutely delicious. We got spring rolls and they were fabulous. The atmosphere was absolutely amazing and the servers were very attentive and amazing. Thank you.

Late lunch 11/1/25: Phở 813
Eating out to celebrate November is my excuse today since I have been trying to cook more often at home to save money. I seldom go to Vietnamese restaurants because I cook Vietnamese food often at home. So when I review the cuisines, it’s whether it’s worth for me to go out to order it or if I rather stay home next time to cook the cuisine instead.

Highlights:
1. service
2. Modern interior design

Review of what I ordered:
1. Wonton Noodle Soup (Mì Hoành Thánh): flavorful broth with balanced seasoning (not too sweet nor too salty), kudos to the thin wonton wrappers and wontons are evenly cooked, but the meat filling tastes like ground pork and loaded with a lot of cornstarch. I do not detect any shrimp here. Bummer. The pickup kids prefer my homemade pork and shrimp wonton noodle soup better.

2. Bún Thái – Husband loves it. I like it too. I will probably order this next time for me. I highly recommend this for my Vietnamese and Thai folks. Now if you don’t like sour tamarind spicy broth type of soups, then this won’t be a good suggestion for you.

3. 813 Signature Caramelized Duck: chewy meat texture, 5 pieces of chewy duck pieces with half a dozen of petite Shanghai bok choy for $25 bucks – I will pass on this next time and experience cooking a whole duck and harvest my bok choy at home next time. I ordered this for the kids and they didn’t like the chewy meat texture and complained it’s too boney. The sauce reminds me of a garlic sweet soy sauce version I have tasted elsewhere, good, but just not worth the money.

4. Caramelized Fish Clay Pot (Cá Kho Tộ: I cook this traditional Vietnamese dish often at home. I ordered here because they have the fried pork fats sprinkled on top in a picture on a Google maps. In reality, my version has raw onions on top and that raw onion smell turned me off. The fried pork fat bits are not crunchy like the versions in Texas either.

But compared to other cá kho versions in Florida I have tried at other restaurants, this is the best version because they cook it that same day.

Some restaurants cook this dish and freeze the caramelized fish, thaw, and reheat when customers order it. To me, any cooked fish once frozen just doesn’t taste “good”, the fish texture would be dry. My mom and some other people prefer cá kho a few days after being refrigerated and reheated again so more flavor is absorbed into the fish. For me, the texture of fish becomes dryer and the flesh becomes more saltier. Not my preference at all for cá kho.

This restaurant make it fresh with that tender melt in your mouth texture. So I recommend trying cá kho here if I never tried this traditional Vietnamese home-style kind of food.

Overall, I guess if you don’t know how to cook Vietnamese food, it’s worth a visit here. If I come back, I would order the Bún Thái. I wish they have a picture menu to showcase their actual cooked dishes for easy reference.
