I have been to the ice cream shop on the Boardwalk several times now, and it never disappoints. Every visit has been a satisfying experience. The boardwalk atmosphere is fun and inviting, the staff is always friendly and welcoming, and the ice cream itself is quite delicious. There are plenty of choices to choose from. It is the perfect spot to grab a treat while enjoying the area. Each time I go, I leave with a smile and look forward to my next visit. Also, I find the prices reasonable considering it’s location.

We stayed on the skyliner and visited boardwalk ice cream one evening. Very moderately priced. 3 ice creams were under $20. Sat outside and watched the sunset off the boardwalk. If you have young kids get the mickey sundae! It’s a big hit!

I was super excited to finally get to try Ample Hills ice cream. I would have rated them 5 stars but atmosphere and staff ruined it.. The ice cream was delicious, but the staff and location were a disappointment. First location- what ice cream shop in Florida doesn’t have any indoor seating? It’s like a billion degrees out and everything instantly melts (and it did) they also only have like three outside tables. We had to inhale the ice cream so that it wasn’t completely soup…. made the experience less than desirable. Second staff- the woman was just rude. I guess she was in a bad mood, and served us the worst scoops I have ever seen. She wanted to rush rush rush. So we got terrible scoops, and one was essentially already a melted mess when we paid. Ugh. A different person scooping is an easy fix, but the lack of seating, especially inside is a hard one to overlook.

Really amazing ice cream in inventive and creative flavors. A must visit! I visited with some friends and their children recently and there were flavors everyone loved. The adults split a sundae ($9.99) which included a waffle bowl, piece of ooey gooey cake or brownie, and three scoops of ice cream—plenty for two or three people to share. The kids enjoyed a single scoop cone ($6.99) in flavors like dark chocolate and cotton candy. Seating is all outside on the boardwalk but it is nice to walk around with your ice cream and take in the view. Great quality; we will be back for sure.
