I went to try the famous egg rolls and my gosh I was highly disappointed. The presentation itself lets you know how the food tasted. The buffalo ranch ones were the only ones that were good, but they weren’t stuffed. The buffalo ones taste like try chicken with hot sauce. The Philly chicken were salty. The shell of the eggrolls were soft and full of grease which may have caused them to smash when they tried to cut it! High disappointed! Please don’t have people wait in their cars and don’t call them and then lie! I really wanted my money back. $18 gone down the drain

My first visit. Ok, spot to pick up something quick to eat. Rating my food a 4 out of 10. Too salty for my liking. Had a Al burger combo $25 (Rate a 3)and ox tail sandwich(rate 1) $25. I forced finished eating it cause I paid so much. For the price i was expecting amazing. Extreme disappointment. Had onion rings with the combo rate those a 0. Onion rings taste different than any I’ve ever tasted. They were disgusting; something off with the batter. Atmosphere, appears clean. They had music so loud I couldn’t hear the cashier as I was placing my order. It’s not a club you can lower the volume just a bit so customer can communicate their order. Maybe it was a bad day. Based off first impression; will I try again possibly but not likely.

I was able to hear and sing along with the Gospel music, I was greeted by Mr. Al himself, Customer service was outstanding!!! I sampled the steak egg rolls with no cheese and the hot season flavored wings my children immediately said MAMA THIS IS OUR NEW SPOT. Everything was clean inside the food is amazing, I’ll be ordering a burger next. I’m so glad Horn Lake has a new business with great food! God bless you on your new journey

Wings were on point. I had the honey hot sauce and it was the perfect combination of sweet and heat. Didn’t try anything else on the menu but they had some great options I haven’t seen in other places like oxtail mac and cheese, grits and oxtail grits and a burger other patrons said are great! Word has it that they actually invented the Buffalo egg roll. I can’t confirm that but I plan to try them on the next visit. Prices were comparable to other wing joints. Wing places in the Memhis area are more common than corner churches in the Bible belt but Al’s looked busy and should stay busy judging by there product.

Drove an hour to try this place! Ordered the Oxtail egg rolls (Pretty Good), wing COMBO (no fries) and rib tips (7/10). Spent over $60! I went back to order fries because I figured the young lady didn’t hear the COMBO part when we ordered. I was charged $7 for an order of fries that took over 15 mins!! Went to the counter to ask about them. The young lady took 2 orders down that were sitting in the window, came back up front and gave me an order of small fries from somebody else’s box. I threw them in the trash!!!

HORRIBLE! I ordered this place through DoorDash. I didn’t expect the egg rolls to be this dry! The flavor wasn’t bad but I envision it having cheese in it with sauce to serve on the side at least. The fries were a big no for me. The wings were salty beyond belief (the New Orleans flavor) I couldn’t finish it, I was worried about my cholesterol ♀️. One positive is my boyfriend enjoyed the cheeseburger other than that I will never go back to this place ever again.

I try my best to support local businesses but some shouldn’t even be in business. I tried Al’s Wings for the 1st time and the Food and Experience was Awful. I Truly Regret not taking pictures of the Burnt, Rubbery Oxtails they tried to sell me before I sent them back Twice. The first batch was Horrible and were pieces already cut up from one oxtail instead of two whole oxtails. The second time came out bad. The cashier FaceTimed the owner and he said they look good even after I tasted one and All I tasted was burnt meat. No flavor. They try and hide it with Barbecue sauce. Sides looked horrible. After going back and forth they eventually changed my order to a wing meal and still kept my change which was a $10 difference. They don’t have to worry about. Never Again will I return. I never write reviews but I’ve also Never experienced a Restaurant that awful far as Food and Customer Service. Then the wings were frozen party wing garbage

On the weekends, Al barbecues, I stopped in for a simple hot dog, and it was BUSSING! I added barbecue sauce, mustard, and slaw. I had only stopped in for a snack, but I wanted another one after getting halfway through my hot dog. The only thing that kept me from returning that day was that I was trying not to look like a big back lol. I WILL be back for the BBQ next weekend.

If your looking for a great new spot Als wings&things is it…I was totally blown out of the atmosphere by the Philly cheese steak egg rolls….The customer service was also terrific.The cashier even gave me 2 free cakes…I would recommend anyone within 100 miles to come those egg rolls…
