Kinja Teriyaki is a cozy, family-run spot specializing in classic Japanese-American favorites like chicken teriyaki, beef bowls, yakisoba noodles, and crispy katsu, all with generous portions that won’t leave you hungry. It’s super convenient if you’re exploring the area and need a quick, affordable bite (meals hover around $10-15). The vibe is clean and welcoming, with friendly staff who often throw in a complimentary like miso soup for takeout orders, and it’s great for both dine-in and delivery via Uber Eats. It can get busy at lunch. If you’re craving straightforward, flavorful teriyaki without the fuss, it’s a neighborhood staple worth trying, pairs perfectly with a post-park stroll!

They are open on Sundays! We ordered the chicken fried rice and the teriyaki & spicy chicken combo. The chicken has a good char on it. Everything was piping hot, super fresh and tasty. Staff is super sweet too.

General Tso’s chicken is not usually breaded, this was more breading than chicken and was mushy. Pot stickers undercooked. When I tried to speak with counter person all she did was try to speak over me. I was handed over to 3 different people and had to repeat my concerns each time. Yakisoba was standard, more cabbage than noodles. Overall not a good experience for me.

First timer. Went in and ordered take-out. The restaurant is very clean, staff incredibly friendly and food excellent. I ordered Mongolian Beef and Fried Rice. Both delicious. Well done I’ll be back. If you prefer to dine inside, it’s comfortable and clean, just not much ambiance.
