Went here for lunch two days in a row. This place is super clean and the staff is extremely pleasant. I had a few questions and they were very polite and friendly. I’m a sucker for small businesses. The burger was bomb and the flounder tastes great. I will definitely be back.

Food is always good. We’ve had several different items they serve and have loved everything except the slaw. The slaw has an oil and vinegar feel to it which is not my preference but it may be for some. The seafood platter, fish, and burgers are great. The ladies at the front are always nice and helpful with any questions. Has a diner type feel to it which is great. Never had to wait too long to order or get food. Place has always been clean.

I really was excited to try this place and looking forward to a flavorful juicy burger with fries. It came out fresh to order but it fell flat for me from there. Fries had no seasoning and the burger really didn’t taste like much to me either. Sweet tea wasn’t great either. Customer service was good however and I would give them another shot, just would probably try something different.

First time here. Just to change up my routine. But I do see why stay with what I know. This place looks like it would be a good classic ol skool spot like the 60’s and 70’s. So I gave it a shot. So right into it, I showed up during dinner hours. First thing I noticed was there was only one other customer here. I really wasn’t tripping. I wanted to try something new to me. Here we go!!! Onion rings were bland and over cooked. Double cheeseburger was nothing special or signature however the bun was decent as it wasn’t too soft and wasn’t tasting stale. Very thin patties. I asked for light lettuce and got what they wanted to do with it. Asked for extra tomatoes and pickles and onions. Just got the lettuce I didn’t want. Roughly 12 dollars for something not worth 4 dollars. Definitely not a satisfied customer. Sad to say, but McDonald’s is much better. And then what kind of ketchup is this. Never seen this brand in my life. Won’t make the mistake again to give hard earned money to sub par grub. They didn’t even give me any silverware. Sorry for not being sorry. You guys need to step your game up severely or just throw in the towel. And for the folks who gave good reviews about this place, either you work here or you just don’t know what good food taste like. Stop trying to fool people. I’m gonna always tell the truth about food places I try. Check my reviews on a lot of these restaurants. I just love great food. If you want honest reviews then check mine out. I love to eat. If it ain’t good, I will let you know while I’m at the restaurant I’m reviewing. Burger patties aren’t even seasoned. What a waste of my time.

Just ordered takeout fried chicken plate. The onion rings have changed for the worst. It is not the original flakey battered onions that they have had forever. Seemed like a bagged onion ring. Chicken was cooked well but it was fried in same oil that fish was fried in. Strong Fish smell along with an old oil smell made my stomach turn. I ordered chicken Not Fish! Has south 21 jr sold out? Definitely not the same quality I have come to know. Customer over 20yrs.
