The restaurant has a decent interior and a comfortable atmosphere. However, the service during our visit was quite disappointing. From the moment my wife and I walked in until we left, we barely interacted with the staff — probably no more than a few sentences in total — and no one really checked on us throughout the meal.
I can’t say for sure, but it felt like we were not given the same level of attention as some other tables. My wife and I are Asian, and we noticed that other guests, especially non-Asian diners, seemed to receive more attentive and frequent service, which made us feel somewhat overlooked. Most of the staff appeared to be bilingual — the front staff mainly spoke English while the kitchen communicated in Chinese — so language didn’t seem to be a barrier.
That said, putting the service aside, the food itself was actually quite good. Portions were larger than expected, and flavors were solid. The shredded chicken appetizer with onions was particularly unique — I’ve honestly never had a version like that anywhere else in the world lol.
Overall, the food was good, but the lack of attentive service really impacted our experience. I would rate this place 3 stars — worth trying for the food, but the service definitely needs improvement.

I love hand pull noodles made fresh to order. The wait was a bit long but I guess it’s worth it. We got the classic beef noodle soup and stir fry veggies and shrimp, with 2 side dishes, seaweed and spicy chicken. The spice level wasn’t too bad, the stir fry noodle was more flavorful than the soup. All the dishes were kind of oily… the hand pulled noodles tasted pretty good and cooked just right. I prefer the thicker noodles because I like the chewiness and fit well with stir fry dishes.

I got the flat stir-fry noodles and they were so good. Not as spicy as I expected, so I mentioned it to my server and they brought us more chili oil right away, which was really nice. It added more flavour but not the kind of “burning” spicy I usually like, but that’s probably just me because I love spicy food Still amazing though. The noodles were perfectly chewy and soaked up the sauce so well. I couldn’t stop eating. I even ordered extra noodles to take home.
My partner got the large braised beef noodles with flat noodles and loved it. They also wanted the squid skewers, but they were sold out, so they must be popular.
We’re definitely coming back. Going to Mall of America is basically a must now just for Mogouyan. Best noodles in town so far. Highly recommend.

This place is fantastic. Even if you don’t dine in, you can still watch them make noodles through a glass window. We tried this place a few days after it opened, so it was super busy, but there was no wait at all. The food was great, and I’m glad they let you choose the spice level since I don’t eat spicy food at all. The service was fast, and the food came out quickly, even though the place was fully packed. I will definitely come back in the future.

The noodles were perfect, just like how I remember from China. The broth was tasty and delicious. The peppercorn gave the broth a good kick, slightly numbing your mouth. The spice level was okay. Their hottest level is MN hot. Overall, a great experience and great noodles. Will try again.

Really good food. Went here at around 6pm and it was packed. Service was great.
We got the chicken wings and spring rolls for appetizers. For mains we had the large braised beef. My server recommended the passion fruit green tea and it was really good.

Went here the other day and ordered the Dan Dan noodles, it was so delicious. Ordered some tofu appetizer, it was also good, crispy on the outside and silky soft texture on the inside. Great service and nice atmosphere.
