I was really excited by this hole-in-the-dystopian-office park spot supposedly being a Sino-Peruvian restaurant, but the food and service were quite disappointing. I asked for the general tso’s extra spicy and it came out 0/10 spicy. It and the egg roll were fried perfectly, but flavor-wise near-indistinguishable from the Trader Joe’s frozen stuff, and the fried rice had almost nothing in it. The teriyaki chicken was a total snooze fest. We asked for tea at 25% sweetness and it came out as basically the sweetest drink we’ve ever tasted. If I or TJ’s could prepare the food as goodbetter than the restaurant then San Antonio we have a problem. The place is a great concept so I hope they revamp their recipes to better distinguish themselves, and pay better attention to what the customer requests, or if no modifications are possible, to disclose as much from the onset.

The restaurant is tucked away in an office building close to the airport. Look for the sign next to the parking lot to direct you to their location. The space was quaint and very clean. There is an option for outdoor seating although it didn’t appear open when we went. The owner was there to help us. She was a wonderfully sweet and helpful lady who answered questions about the menu and made recommendations. I got the Lomo Saltado over parmesan noodles and my husband got the Ribeye Steak Bowl. Both were delicious! I appreciated that the Lomo Saltado came with the green sauce you get at most Peruvian restaurants. And over parmesan spaghetti was pretty indulgent. If you want to try different flavors, the Lomo Saltado & Ribeye Steak Bowl were pretty similar in flavor so I would recommend getting one or the other. The tea was delicious albeit slightly on the sweeter side. Overall, we loved the experience. The hidden location may cause their business to be a bit slow so be sure to check this place out if you are in the area. They deserve the business.

Hey, that’s Rob!
Unless you know this place is here you will drive right past it and never know it exists. I found out about this place from my co-workers. It is a small cafe located on the ground level of an office building. But don’t let that fool you. They have a small menu of sandwiches and burgers along with some Asian dishes. I had the chunks of sirloin steak with mixed veggies served on top of fried rice. It was very good and what’s nice is it is served in a to-go bowl so whatever you don’t finish you can take it with you. I also hear that the general tso’s chicken is also very good.

Was gonna try but too many identifiers. Just make good food and provide good service and normal folks will show up.

What a gem this place is ! Located inside of an office building , this little restaurant could be easy to pass up , but don’t! So far I have only had lunch there but it was delicious and so fresh. I love that it is fast , the seating area is clean and they have an array of offerings like Asian and Peruvian inspired dishes. They also have what looks to be delicious coffee/latte options as well, but I haven’t tried them. It’s really too good to not give it a try !

Kettle & Wok is a bit hard to find, it’s tucked into the middle of an office building, but the food more than makes up for the odd location. The steak and noodles were absolutely amazing. This place is a hidden gem, a diamond in the rough, an island of flavor in an otherwise desolate and unforgiving ocean of mediocrity!

This is a little cafe inside an office building so the atmosphere is just ok, but it’s very clean and neat with a small outdoor patio. I he best General Tso’s I’ve had in a long time. Nice spice to it and not too sweet. Definitely will go back.

So who would’ve thought Asian-TexMex fusion with a San Antonio flair would work so well!… not me, but it definitely does!
The food is excellent, flavorful, and interesting. The only bad thing is that I’m only just visiting San Antonio for a few more days. Otherwise, I’d be a regular.
