Look, everyone has their go to pho spot and I know it’s hard to break away from routine. But recently, I was recommended A Bit of Saigon by a friend of mine. When your Vietnamese buddy tells you his favorite spot, you gotta check it out. In an unassuming strip mall you’ll find this family owned gem. Their menu is very small. That’s usually a sign the food is going to be great. It shows they carefully specialize in each dish. Ordered the banh xeo and a bowl of pho dac biet. The banh xeo was crispy and stuffed with shrimp. The pho broth superior. The tendon was melt in your mouth. I love supporting businesses like this that actually care about the product they serve. I’ve got my new spot now. Hope yall give em a go.

I can’t say enough about the Pho here! It’s consistently good, crisp clean flavorful broth. The small family feel adds to the quality of food and customer service. If you live in the Kernan and Beach area, this should be a go to staple for you. The bang for your buck with quality!!

Quick service, clean restaurant, good food. I had grilled pork with vermicelli noodles. Food presentation tlwas pretty (sorry, forgot to take a picture before I mixed it).Pork is tender with that nice grilled flavor. Vermicelli noodles done just right. Good solid food. There is a flavor missing, compared to my favorite Vietnamese restaurant, which I cannot identify. Lemongrass?

Inside has decent space.
Floors and especially restroom are filthy.
Waiter was friendly and nice.
Spring roll was ok.
Peanut sauce is way watered down not traditional thick sauce very disappointing.
Ordered short ribs, they were unflavored and super tough to eat I was afraid to break a tooth literally felt like meat was imported from Mexico (yes I have had Mexico meat)
Quality is poor
Will not be returning.

My husband and I stopped here for lunch after calling a bunch of restaurants in the area asking if they had Chicken Pho (Pho Ga) prepared with chicken bone broth instead of beef bone broth. I have dietary restrictions and I cannot eat beef product. I was so so so happy that this owner makes Pho properly and sensibly. If we lived in Jacksonville, we would eat here regularly. My Pho was DELICIOUS AND SO SAVORY. I wish I could have a bowl right now as I am typing this review. It was the best Pho I have ever had outside of my town. My husband enjoyed his plate too. I hope this business sees lots of good fortune.

I have had many pho’s in my life and for the first time I have witnessed and experienced the most Authentic pho here at “A bit of Saigon” the presentation of the dish was gorgeous and they actually had thick authentic protein and they actually put rare steak! That was Amazing!

Terrible service….I went in to Pho for take-out. I asked for a side of broth and offered to pay what ever it cost. The male owner refused and told me his serving is enough. I said again I will pay and he went on a rant telling me no. When my order was ready he went on again how he does not sell sides of broth. I asked if all the sides for thenPho were in the bag and he went off again. Not only was the service terrible but the restaurant is very dark and dingy. Don’t waste your time. Plenty of other places offer Pho and are much cleaner and friendly.

Service was friendly and quick. Simple decor with peaceful ambiance music. Simply yummy homemade Vietnamese food. I give 3/5 for the food though because, while it was authentic, I prefer pho broth a little more savory than how this restaurant prepares it. The fresh spring rolls and peanut sauce were good value. The man was very friendly also. We went for a late lunch and it was not busy, so we were sat immediately.
