The lady is so sweet. The food is good and good prices! The place looks like it used to be a bar. We couldn’t find the place because the sign was pretty small but glad we went. Will be back to try other food options they have!

I would highly recommend going elsewhere. We are not food snobs; we love nearly every Asian restaurant we go to. Many years ago, this was a good restaurant, but the quality started dropping. We kept trying to give them another chance, but after this experience, never again. We wanted Chinese food for our anniversary dinner. We were originally going to eat there, but after noticing the entire restaurant was empty at dinner time, that should have been our first clue. We ordered it to go, and it was ready in a few minutes. We ordered a large variety for the whole family. After starting to eat it, we noticed it wasn’t fresh. A lot of the items were only lukewarm. Some things tasted freezer-burned, and some things tasted like they were starting to go bad. After we tried a few bites of everything, it was so bad we just ate something else for dinner. We called after noticing the food quality, and they said they would replace the meal in the next few days, which we were fine with. But that night, we all started having major stomach issues; it was awful. After we all got sick, my wife called and explained we all got sick and we just wanted our money back because we weren’t going to risk getting sick again. They agreed to refund us, but when we went to get the refund, the older lady said they would only refund half of the money because some of the food was edible. We politely said that we were told we would get a full refund. But the older lady started yelling at us and throwing a fit in front of my young daughter. That night my daughter repeatedly asked why the lady was acting crazy.

The Wok is a beloved local favorite in Livingston, Montana, known for its delicious and authentic Chinese cuisine. Customers have consistently praised the hot, fresh food and the friendly, welcoming service. The restaurant has been a staple in the community for years, and its reputation for quality, delicious dishes has earned it a loyal following. The food was delicious and came out quickly. Portions are large and everything was fresh. The service was outstanding, our water glasses were never empty. The restaurant is clean but in an older building that could use an update.

We stopped here after a long day on the road to visit our daughter. We were greeted at the door and the waitress/hostess had taken our orders in minutes.
Our food came out quickly and everyone enjoyed their dinner. My Kung Pow chicken was on point while my wife enjoyed her sesame chicken. My in laws enjoyed their crispy chicken and eggplant chicken. The atmosphere was nice and waitress attentive without being intrusive.
The only beverage offered was water but that did not take away from an excellent dinner.
Parking was on the street but after 5pm on weekdays you can park in the bank parking lot across the street.

I usually visit my parents for a bit once a year. It is one of my stops on my visit, but they moved. Looks like the Stockman Bar is now the Wok. Once found, the food and service was great.

This is the best hidden restaurant I’ve been to in the last year.

The restaurant is simply charming, the service is exceptional, The meals arrive very quickly, everything is fresh and delicious! The portions are also huge in size! And all this at a really, really affordable price. I recommend everyone to come and eat even though it is often almost empty, it is worth it. And if you still don’t want to sit down, then take out!!!

Many thanks to all the staff, the waitress and the cooks!

Looks like the menu changed and prices went up. But the food was still good and the 2 Young servers are Amazing !!
Update : 8/25/23 – My daughter was craving Chinese, so we tried out The Wok again !! We were seated right away, ordered appetizers and hot tea a few minutes later we placed our order and asked for the tea the appetizers came then main course, asked again for the tea which I never got. The appetizers and main course was good sweet and sour chicken was really hard to chew, maybe overcooked but that can happen. Though the meal was flavorful some potions were small and the prices have gone up , but that understandable !! The Young girl that runs the whole front of house is so kind and absolutely amazing !!
6/10

I have eaten here twice (order to go) both times spent 50 bucks. First time the food was decent, second time it was horrible. No flavor at all. Except maybe weird. Hard to explain but it just did not taste right. Even the won ton soup tasted bland . the spring rolls were greasy and tasted old. Unfortunately this is the last time I will eat there.
