We visited this resturant on a Saturday lunchtime. I had reserved however it wasn’t needed as it wasn’t busy. However what I will say is even though it wasn’t busy at that particular time, the phone was ringing off the hook for bookings constantly. I can see why. The food was amazing. Quentin was our server. He was super kind, attentive (but not too much) and was very welcoming which was nice.

We were offered prawn crackers with sweet chilli dip. These felt fresh and were flavoursome. There was a special lunchtime menu. I went for this and my guest had two starters (smaller appetite) I had the chicken satay to start, the sauce was lovely. Beautiful flavour, good temperature and tasty. The chicken had a nice marinade and was throughly cooked. My guest had the fish patties. Tad on the hot (spicy) side for her so we swapped halfway through. I found them to be manageable and tasty, not too fishy if that makes sense.

For main I had the garlic and pepper stir fry with beef and my guest had the tempura prawn starter. OMG the stir fry was just amazing. Honestly I couldn’t fault it. If I could have had another one I would have but I wanted to save room for desert lol

The coconut mousse was ok. Consistency was light and the taste was nice. I would have liked the coconut to be stronger but that’s just me. I chose the mango and passion fruit coulis which went well. The cheesecake was good too. We wanted to try two desserts that were shown as being home made.

I can safely say I will be going back, I have other things I want to try on the menu. A nice location, very easy to park and just a really nice place to sit, watch the world go by and eat good food 🙂

After only moving to the area I saw this come up of recommended in the area. My Dad and I gave this a try last night and they didn’t disappoint. The food and service was first class from start to finish. The prices are also really good for the quality of food you get. Will definitely be coming back.

I have eaten Thai food all over the world and ridiculously my local Thai corner in Hythe is by far the best I have ever eaten. And by a mile.

I could eat here every day.

Every dish is a gastronomic explosion of flavours.

The service is authentic, professional and extremely welcoming.

Thank you Thai corner.

Whilst visiting a good friend this side of the Southampton Water in Hythe, we were greeted by a friendly waitress at this Thai restaurant.
We didn’t have to wait or book in advance. There is plenty of room with easy access.
The food is very good and I left absolutely nothing. I had the “ ️ ️ ️” jungle curry for main and it was fantastic. On the level of a Madras heat wise.
Altogether a very enjoyable experience and I would recommend it. It does get busy so possibly you could call ahead to see if there’s seats available.

What a wonderful restaurant. First time we’ve been there. We had the sharing starter with chicken satay, ribs and battered prawns. All delicious and 4 of each so plenty to share. Then had red curry, stir fry and noodles. Again delicious and good sized portions. Banana fritters to finish were great too. Will be back to try something else!
Been back again May 23. Again a brilliant choice of dishes. Loads of BBQ ribs for starter and delicious soup. Green curry wasn’t too hot so just right. Loved it.

Just had the most amazing authentic Thai meal. For start I had the seafood fisherman’s soup, it had perfectly soft squid, fresh mussels, King prawns, lemongrass and chilli, it was so delishus. Then I had a pork stir fry which was packed with flavour and lots of chilli! The owners are very nice people and clearly very hard working, I was well taken care of and even tho it was busy they had plenty of time to talk with me and have a laugh. Thanks for a great experience, I’ll be back!

Average Thai food, no wow effect. Thai is my favourite cuisine and I’ve eaten at hundreds of different Thai restaurants around the world. Unfortunately neither of the two mains we ordered (Cashew Nut Stir Fry and Beef in Black Bean Stir Fry) were that great. The taste was unauthentic, and the sauce left a weird aftertaste. Prices are OK and staff friendly, but I think this restaurant is only rated so high because there’s no better alternative in the surrounding area.
