Place is small and building old but it is clean. It has about 4 table booths. We came to buy Tamales Oaxaqueños but they didn’t have any. They have other food options but two other items that I asked for from menu not available. I ended ordering consomé & it was good. I think they can improve on their waiting skills and having all the food options offered on the menu.

The green tamales where really good, I wish they had the chicken and mole tamales since it’s a Oxacan tamales place. Otherwise, it’s just a green leaf tamale.

I went there on May 19th around 6:30 p.m I ordered a steak burrito it was pretty good it was very hot however the steak had absolutely no flavor to it The rice and beans were pretty good. The service was phenomenal little bit of a language barrier because I don’t speak Spanish but good thing I had my Google translator and the guys that were there were totally awesome

Food was really good. Service was rude made a person with a cane walk back to turn the bathroom light off they opened the back door letting all the cold air and when mentioned the older man got bothered. Food was good but not coming back

Our food wasn’t flavored at all, and it was very uncomfortable to sit in. They need to season their food and redo the entire look of the restaurant. It’s very kiddish.

My oh my this place has EXCELLENT food. Truely a delicious Home style taste. Prices are GREAT… I got the gorditas with steak & am totally satisfied! Going back before 7 pm tonight for homemade TAMLES. I’m visiting Chicago & Chi-Town has A Lot of different cultures & foods!! I recommend you try this place out! I’m definitely going back for 2nds!!
