Our first time ordering and we were not disappointed. Very quick delivery. The food was fresh hot. Excellent taste. My wife ordered the sesame chicken and I ordered the coconut chicken. The rice was perfectly cooked. The carrots were excellent. The chicken dinners were excellent. The only downside was the steamed broccoli needed a few more minutes steamed.
Overall we are very happy with our order and will eat there again.

For reference I typically get Hibachi chicken & rice or sesame chicken & rice and have order from here about 20 times.
• the quantity. The amount of rice you get is great but the chicken quantity is extremely small. Approximately one small chicken breasts worth of chicken.
Sogos gives a heaping serving of both rice and chicken. (See photo)
• the quality. When I get Hibachi chicken, the chicken seems pretty tough even though the sauce is pretty good.
When I get seaseme chicken, it’s seems as if it’s a day old and just got heated up in the microwave. I suspect this because all of the sauce seems to have soaked into the breading in the chicken making the breading soggy and the overall dish lacking the sauce you’d expect from sesame chicken.
Sogos has tender chicken with larger overall individual pieces of chicken. (Again, see photo)
• ordering app (Mealkeyway). When you go to checkout, it automatically applies a %15 tip. If you select no tip and then change your payment method, it applies a tip again. Very sneaky. Ordering through the website does not do this and after your third order on the app (to get 10% off orders), there is no need to use the app.
I have been ordering here for my fried rice fix for at least 3 years but I’ve kind of had it. I’ll probably drive to a further restaurant that I know is better food.
Though I will say, the staff is very friendly and never had any issues with the wait.

An extremely hot day for visiting NC, I was in the mood for something not so heavy and cold…so I stumbled across this Japanese restaurant. The service was great, very quick, and lots of options. The poke bowl was affordable and delicious! Spicy salmon was excellent! The dining atmosphere was perfect too with a lot of dimmed lights. Perfect for lunch and would love to come back on my next t visit, thank you!

Gooorl… ima first said, this is my first time there. I ordered the poké bowl and the Latino guy who made my bowl on 11/11/206 was ruuuude.. even worst co-worker at work treated me better. Just like Shawn Mendez said, I know I can treat you better……I was caught by surprised as I was deciding what to get, looked at the menu and he walked away because apparently I was taking too long. It was 2 or 3 sec. He then came back, on the bright side, faster than my ex the second time around! The customer experience was not it, the same goes to their salmon meat which was not the right temperature.. welp anyways life could always be worse………

Went for Dinner, we got hibachi chicken and General Tso Chicken with noodles. Sushi, Super California Roll, and Kaizoku Roll, deep fried. The food was fast coming out and really good, the noodles had a hibachi taste. Would recommend it as a place to eat. It was really cold in the restaurant.

This place is dangerously delicious. Every time I’ve order from here I always over order. My eyes are bigger than my stomach when I start looking at the menu. I haven’t found anything that I don’t like yet. My son and I both enjoy the Yummy burrito. I’ve had there sushi and it was also very good. The shrimp and chicken hibachi are our favorite things to get.

Good. Solid. Japanese. Food. I stumbled upon this place as I was getting an acai bowl 2 doors down. Well, I came back a couple weeks later and I’m glad that I did. The staff was very polite and very welcoming. They were very patient in telling me the different options that they have, because not only do they do the Japanese style of cooking on the grill, they have poke bowls, and sushi too!
The food was simply fresh, not overly seasoned, veggies still had a crunch because they didn’t cook’em to death , and establishment very clean. You can’t ask for anything more.

First time at this restaurant. Worth the drive just for the spring rolls. I had the sushi burrito and it did not disappoint. My daughter’s poke bowl and squid balls were delicious. Already making plans to visit again. The food was ready in minutes. Definitely worth visiting.
