Absolutely blown away by this place. The sushi was delicious and the quality of the food was excellent — you can truly taste the freshness in every bite. Everything was beautifully presented and full of flavor.
The cleanliness of the restaurant really stood out to me as well. The dining area was spotless, organized, and very welcoming. Service was completely on point from start to finish — attentive, friendly, and professional.
Special shout out to the manager, Plang, who was incredibly kind and gave amazing recommendations. You can tell he genuinely cares about the customer experience.
Highly recommend this spot — it’s officially going to be my regular sushi place!

After my wife and I did a date night activity, we walked here for dinner about 45 minutes from closing time. We took a little risk by getting the Chef’s Choice sushi platter and the fish was so fresh and delicious. The waiter came by before closing time and asked if we wanted anything else. We liked our platter so much, I asked if it was OK to get another platter. He gladly said yes and we finished our meal after closing hours. The chef even added an extra sushi piece from the daily special menu. We had a great meal and kind service with a nigori sake.

I was craving ankimo and Wazabi Sushi did not disappoint! The oyster shooters were the best I’ve had in a long time. All nigiri and sashimi were fresh and delicious. The shishito peppers are a must! The yellowtail collar was massive! Friendly and fast service. The quality reminds me of my favorite high end sushi restaurant in Brooklyn, NY. Safe to say I’ve found my new favorite in OC!

Wow, the sushi and combinations are amazing. Quality fresh and delicious. We had a Nigiri 12 piece with a roll, a handful of appetizers, including items I’ve never seen on a menu before. You can tell the chefs have pride on what they serve and how they present. The Awesome roll truly was awesome! The atmosphere is welcoming, cozy and has a great vibe. They don’t take reservations. My only feedback is we wrote down our name on the waiting list for 2 along with a phone number. We asked a server if they would call us when our table is ready and they said yes. So we walked across the street to a local bar for a beer while we waited. We ended up calling the restaurant to ask about our status, turns out they don’t call you.
I would return to this place in a heartbeat. Great first date spot to if you are looking for something casual and great quality food!

My sister and I randomly found this spot one night after DesignerCon. We ordered the California roll, yellowtail, rainbow roll, and spicy tuna, along with some beverages. Everything was great, especially the drinks and atmosphere. You can get a good mix of fusion and traditional sushi here, which is also nice.
