Boda’s Kitchen is a gourmet delicatessen, market and catering company. We are passionate about using high quality, seasonal ingredients sourced locally when possible. The Pacific Northwest and particularly the Columbia Gorge is bountiful with ingredients. From wild-caught salmon to the ripest cherries and pears, there is little reason to look elsewhere for tasty food.

portland locals who finally decided to spend a couple nights in hood river after passing through a bunch of times. we found boda’s just walking around the describe area and we’re pleasantly surprised. such a lovely little spot offering sandwiches, rotisserie chicken, and more. we ordered a ham and brie panini and seasonal strawberry lemonade, and both were great! the ambiance is lowkey and the person at the start were super friendly. i would definitely go back!

They have vegan options! I had the veggie sandwich, no cheese but grilled panini style. Excellent! Plus the veggie roll. Fabulous lunch

When you are nowhere near a familiar place and you want something wholesome and nourishing, you can count on this place to deliver. Excuse the flies in the summer, and the limited outdoor seating. But make sure you get in here for a quality meal with no additives or preservatives. They really put love in their food, I could taste it. I was on a tour of the region when I stopped in here for lunch and some wine. I had the Salad Trio Plate. My friend got the gourmet grilled cheese. Nothing synthetic touched my palate. I brought home some hazelnut shortbread and a few bottles of the hot sauce they have there for retail sale too. Check this joint out, maybe consider their catering business too. Really the place to be. Walked away feeling like I supported a great business but also that my body was thankful for giving it nourishment….and vino!

Very delicious artisan crafted food. This place serves quality food made with excellent ingredients. It is not cheap in terms of a typical lunch but the food is nothing typical either. For those not sure of what to eat in Hood River for lunch this place is difficult to beat. Only downside, bathroom is located around the building so you’ve got to go outside to get to it (but that’s pretty typical for some of the Hood River buildings).

Excellent food at good prices. They have a good variety of healthy food options as well as a great selection of beer and wine. The place is very clean and has a modern interior. The staff are friendly and it seems to be a very popular place with Hood River locals. Service is fast and portions are price appropriate. Excellent choice for to go or dine in meals. Highly recommend.

Storefront is tired, inside isn’t much better, staff were friendly, sandwiches were fresh but not lacked any veggies and were just dense, cheesy, and small. Not sure how this place ended up on the eater heat map. Maybe we ordered the wrong things …

There are some restaurants in Hood River that owe their success to the fact that they are the only place that offers a certain cuisine. This is not one of them, this place would be considered objectively great food anywhere. I had a curried carrot soup that was both mild but still flavorful – not overpowering, simply delicious. The hot Italian panini was a perfect blend of cheese, pickled peppers, and salami. And I actually came back to buy the rainbow cake (almond cake, apricot, chocolate ganache) because it called to me when I was ordering my food but I was a fool and ignored it. No regrets!
