My son ordered a Mango Juice that came out like a smoothie, of course he only gave each of us 1 sip because it was that good.
We ordered 2 empanadas; the spinach and ham and cheese, both were out of this world. My son had a pizza that was served with fresh melted cheese and a thin crust. My mom ordered a chicken wrap that she is still talking about; the fresh veggies, toasted wrap and delicious fresh chicken. I had the chicken Milanese and my father had the steak Milanese. Both came on a delicious bread with fresh lettuce and tomato. The sandwiches are massive and definitely can be shared or saved for dinner, which we did. The chef came out, at my mom’s request so she can thank him and give him a hug. He was so appreciative and kind. We will be going back to show love to this family owned business not only for their delicious food, but for their warm hospitality and heart! Everyone needs to RUN here!!!!
Now, onto the food. We started with the empanadas—beef and three-cheese. The cheese one was rich and melty, but the beef? Unfortunately, it fell flat. Lacked flavor and didn’t taste especially fresh, which was disappointing.
I had the avocado toast with a side of eggs, which was decent—nothing wildly exciting but solid. My husband ordered the steak and eggs, and I have to admit, I was hyped. The online reviews made it sound like a must-try, so I imagined a thick, juicy ribeye or T-bone. Instead, we got a thin skirt steak—definitely not what we expected. It wasn’t terrible, but a heads-up on the cut would’ve gone a long way in managing expectations.
The drinks, though? That’s where they shined. The iced caramel macchiato was bold, smooth, and hit all the right notes. And the fresh-squeezed orange juice? Pure sunshine. Refreshing, crisp, and probably the best thing we tasted that morning.
Would I go back? Yes—but next time I’ll ask what they recommend. There’s potential here, and with the right dish, I think it could be a real gem.
Excellent customer service. The location is tucked away in the back with construction in the area so it can be hard to miss. Worth the stop if you’re looking for a quick breakfast/ lunch. The empanada was good, warm on the outside not on the inside and a bit stale.
Dano’s Coffee is anamazing spot with excellent coffee and some of the best empanadas around. Everything is fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care. Their desserts are also a must-try—perfectly balanced and not overly sweet.
The owner and staff are genuinely warm and welcoming. It’s the kind of place where you feel comfortable whether you’re grabbing a quick coffee or sitting down for a while.
On top of that, the prices are very reasonable for the quality you’re getting. Definitely a place worth visiting if you appreciate good coffee and great food at a fair price.
