We went for a surprise Valentine’s Day evening treat for my wife, had to park on side street as no spaces available outside restaurant
When we arrived staff didn’t ask if we had a booking just got us seated, until I mentioned we had booked, then staff went to check, not a good first impression.
Would recommend when booking, ask for a table in the window left side in restaurant or on the right in front of bar, our table was near the door and we kept getting a draught, and staff constantly coming past either side to service tables
Staff didn’t ask if we had any allergies, which could of been better but they were busy, but took drinks order, Birra Moretti and Chardonnay.
We chose starters, arancini with salad leaves and a dip and spare ribs, which came quickly and were delicious, main courses Cannelloni Ripieni with plenty of melted cheese and Calzone versuvio with a Napoli sauce, generous portions and very tasty.
No room for dessert but my wife had a Honey spiced Old Fashioned cocktail which was original. They do a good range of cocktails ask for details
Recommend booking probably at weekends, they also have an early bird menu, see website for details, would revisit but again ask about table allocation when booking.

So it was our Daughters 18th Birthday meal and after reading all the great reviews on Google we decided to Book the Italian Room.
So we booked a Table for the 6 of us for 19:00 hours, So we arrived and we were warmly greeted by a member of staff who showed us to our table.
Restaurant had a lovely exterior and interior, Quite a Cozy dining room, After a few minutes we ordered drinks, We ordered Three pints of Moretti, Two pints of Coke and a glass of Merlot.
For Food we ordered Olives to share and a portion of Chicken and Chorizo skewers for mains we ordered Cannelloni, Pizza , Mussels in a creamy garlic sauce, 2x Prawn Gamberoni, Sea Food pasta with Two portions of Chips and a Cheesy Garlic Bread.
Food was very well presented, Tasted amazing and was a perfect portion size, Food was honestly amazing so fresh and authentic Italian food, Service was absolutely fantastic and the staff were extremely accommodating and very polite and friendly and were extremely patient as we were up and down taking photos and videos while dinner service was taking place.
The Full Bill was £250 that is for a Table of Six for our Daughters 18th Birthday meal with Plenty of drinks, Shots etc.
We always give our honest opinion on pur experiences on Google and we have over 27,000,000+ Views.
Then The staff came out with the Birthday cake we brought and the staff came out with our Daughters cake singing Happy Birthday which was a lovely touch.
Honestly We cannot recommend The Italian Room highly enough, We knew from the the fantastic reviews it was going to be amazing but honestly the Food, The Restaurant itself, The Service, The staff and the whole dining experience is Top Draw.

Went to this little gem for a mix of Sunday lunch, early bird main menu and kids meals….well what a surprise it was. Food was hot and great portions, service was fab, staff were super friendly and accommodating (even with our noisy rabble) wasn’t waiting long for anything and fussy kids really enjoyed it…the fussiest even loving the lobster ravioli…all in a all great value for money and honestly so surprised…if you haven’t already give it a try! You will not be disappointed
