I like Potato Corner. But the Potato Corner in San Diego just take forever to serve the fries compared to other locations. They also take longer than their estimated time.
They also don’t have the buzzer to know when your order is ready so you would have to stand at the booth the whole time which also make the place more crowded.
Hope they can make improvements.

We missed Potato Corner so much in National City, so we decided to make the drive for some fun and enjoy their sour cream and BBQ potato fries. But wow, the wait was so long, it took almost an hour! I know it’s worth it, but waiting that long for a Giga Bite of fries is tough. The servers didn’t seem as energetic; they looked tired, which is understandable since they were busy, but it did take away a bit from the experience.

I ordered and paid, but ultimately left after realizing that there was no chance of getting my fries in a timely manner. Frankly, if I can order a bowl of ramen or fries from any other place and finish it before my order is ready there, it’s not worth it in the slightest.
I’m giving the benefit of the doubt these fries taste incredible, but even so, that would not excuse the horrendous service experience. The workers looked tired, but I’m not blaming them, since they look horrifically understaffed for the flood of people waiting on their orders.
I moreso blame the terrible management, as there is literally only a single person that’s actually preparing and mixing the fries by hand. And going by other reviews, it doesn’t seem like any effort has been made to expedite orders in any way. Not even any sort of system to remotely call orders instead of the current system of forcing everyone to crowd around for tens of minutes waiting for their order.

I lile potato corner but, hard to want and support their business when they take more than an hour to give you your food. Their sign said the wait was 45 minutes, fine. But then waiting an additional 45 minutes, not okay especially if they dont specify that it will take longer than 1 hour wait.

Great seasoned fries, decent for the price, although a bit of a long wait since it gets really popular and you have to wait behind a lot of other’s orders ahead of you. I always get the sour cream and onion flavor when I come to this place.

Regrets.. i should have just waited 30mins for fries. I asked the lady to give me whatever is available, that happened to just the potato chips, i opt for the cheddar flavor. There’s too much cheddar powder on the chips making it too salty.. some chips are also burnt. Next time ill just stick to the fries.

Went to Potato Corner in Plaza Bonita Mall for quick snack. Ordered some garlic flavored chips, which were stale tasting . Also ordered the chili barbecue fries which were BOMB !

The longest wait we ever had for fries . We already strolled 2x around the entire mall and its still not done. Not 45 mins wait but in reality it was 1 hour and 17 mins.
