I’ve been a regular customer of this restaurant for about three years now. I’ve always been satisfied and usually never have a problem. But in the last few months, it seems that their portions have varied and are not consistent. My wife, kids, and I order dinners and sometimes get a side order of fries instead of the rice and beans. Lately, their portions for their fries have been crazy. This is considered a side of fries? Seems like they have a lazy cook that just threw whatever fries were leftover at the bottom of the frying basket onto the plate of food. This isn’t the first time they’ve done. In the attached picture, I don’t even see a full length fry. Not coming back.

I have been going here for years. I often used them to cater for special events. The last time I was there on Saturday 4th. I was picking up for a baby sprinkle. On the way out with the catering tray, the heavy front door swung back and hit the corner of the pan, and the chicken pan hit the floor, losing about 5 to 6 pieces on the floor. I brought it to the counter to get a new pan and requested the 5 pieces get replaced. They said we only sell chicken in 8 pieces and charged another 25 dollars on top of the 139$ for the chicken. Maybe that’s how life is, but it pissed me off.

If you’re a black delivery driver they racially profile you as if you’re gonna steal. Which pissed me off because what if i assumed they were hidingfrom ice!. You see how disgusting it is to be racist. Whomever the manageris should teach them to do better!!. It was the young Mexican girl at the front demanding that I verify an order when she knows I can’t verify anything until all of the items are there and I can visibly see them along with the receipt!

I have been to alot of Mexican chicken spots but this one is set apart from the rest simply because they are the only one to have a peanut salsa that’s out right one of the strangest things I ever heard of but don’t let that stop you from trying it out , cuz once you do you’ll want to take a bowl to fill up and take it all home try it I dare are you

1st time at the one here in Roundlake, usually go to the one in waukegan but they were closed today for remodeling I guess. Wanted chicken so bad we took the trip to this location was afraid it wasn’t going to be the same but happy to say their chicken, rice and beans were just as good. Prices were a little more expensive at this location but at that point didn’t really care with every penny lol..

VERY POOR customer service!!! I ordered salsa & chips to go. Before I got home the salsa fully wasted in the bag. I called back (not even 5 minutes later) to see if they will be willing to give me a replacement. Unfortunately, I was told there was nothing they can do since I left the store. I’m extremely disappointed in the service at this location. It was their mistake and wasn’t willing to compensate in anyway.

Got my order mixed up. Called and the girl couldn’t hear me. Probably due to the very loud music in the background. Told her the sides are wrong and if I can get credit or exchange it and she said no because we already picked it up. But, it’s not our fault they wrote down the order wrong. She said even it’s their fault, its our fault for not checking the food and hung up!! As a customer, one trusts our food order is correct and when we picked ip our food the bag is closed up with a knot. Bad customer service drives good customers away from establishment.
