Good ice cream BUT VERY STINGY WITH THE TOPPINGS!!! i shouldn’t taste a topping every 4 bites of an ultumate cookie blizzard. they grind the toppings down too much. The cookies dont taste real either The Bordentown Ice Cream shop is Waaaaaaaay better and they use real oreos.

It’s convenient because of there being no other DQ’s around but the shopping plaza its in is extremely run down. My girlfriend didn’t feel safe sitting in a car in their parking lot.
The store itself was fairly clean and the staff was friendly. The ice cream was good but it wasn’t anything special.

DWayne is absolutely correct. They do over mix the blizzard. Ordered a vanilla blizzard with m&ms.GOT A GLASS OF CHOCOLATE MILK. PLUS it was thin, like a glass of milk, same goes for the shakes.WATERRY. Trying to make a fast buck on your customers isnt good for business. JUST MAKES IT EASIER TO KEEP MY DIET. GOOD BYE DAIRY QUEEN.

While I’m aware of the fact that you should not judge a book by it’s cover, but this dilapidated storefront is the only remaining store left in an entire abandoned shopping center. Also from what little i do know, I was pretty sure that the entire Dairy Queen chain had gone the way of the dodo bird… “EXTINCT”. Oh well! Regardless they do serve ice cream and ice cream based desserts.

I loved it at first but the second time I went, I wound up with the wrong item. Wanted the mixed flavor soft ice cream in the largest cup they had available but they gave me the medium-sized Blizard cup. I kept searching for the vanilla but couldn’t find it. It was all chocolate. Maybe it was mixed at first then they blended it and that turned it into the Blizzard which costs more. Maybe I’ll give them one more chance two months from now or maybe I’ll try Tootsies in the town where I bought the pizza.

It’s been a very long time since I have treated myself to DQ. I got the New York cheesecake blizzard with strawberry. It was delicious, thick, creamy, with chunks of cheesecake and smooth strawberry filling. I dont think it will be as long before I treat myself again. The gentleman working was very experienced and although they no longer make what I was looking for, he was able to make something equally delicious.

Stopped in to grab a mini Hawaiian Blizzard. They didn’t have coconut, so I ordered a pecan turtle Blizzard. It was amazing! So much flavor! My companion had a triple brownie Blizzard that he proclaimed excellent. People at the counter were charming, funny and very helpful. A mini is just the right amount of yumminess!

I’ve not been to a DQ in years but was in the area so stopped by and got a blizzard. When did they start adding chocolate syrup to a snickers blizzard? Might as well of just used chocolate ice cream instead of vanilla. i remember they used to be vanilla ice cream and the candy bar of your choice with no additions unless you asked for it. They could’ve asked if i wanted added chocolate. Now i wonder if the other items were added separately to “simulate” a snickers and wasn’t even an actual snickers in the thing. Ended up throwing it away once i got home.

My pop and I stop thru on my way home from work daily (except the past week or two when he went on an Alaskan cruise) and we typically get a cone each. I’m known for both by sarcastic personality and straight forward nature, and extremely outspoken. I get these traits from him. I think he ruffled a few feathers one of the first times we went in bc it seems one woman tends to short him with the amount of custard on his cone. No big deal, I know, but I think he’s getting fed up, and if he speaks up, he will make her cry. Other than that, I dig the place. Just the other day I went solo and got a Blizzard (the new caramel fudge one) and the young girl was sure to flip it before giving it to me.
