Went in here for pizza and loved the whole experience!
The owner and staff were very welcoming and the service was great.
The pizza was fantastic.. I can’t get enough of that sweet garlicky sauce that they use. All the ingredients were fresh and the amount of cheese on the pizza was just perfect.

Visited here for the first time tonight. The food was decent. I’d say middle of the road in my experience. The chicken in the Fettucine alfredo was pretty good and not the chicken with fake grill marks many give. Cheese sticks were better than average ones.

However, the prices were eye watering. The menu is *not* up to date so I would strongly suggest you ask for the prices before ordering. Our party ordered 3 pasta dishes and an order of mozzarella sticks and it was $113. That’s more expensive than some of the higher end pizza places in the city.

First timer….Order to go they forgot to call after waiting 45 min for my pizza and it was done and just sitting. Presentation was everything don’t like the sauce very bland and 30.75 for a medium two topping is crazy just not for me won’t be going back.

Palermo’s of 63rd is a true gem from the past, serving up classic Italian comfort with a chill, nostalgic vibe. Walking in, you can immediately feel the timeless charm of this place, with its cozy, unpretentious atmosphere that makes you want to slow down and enjoy your meal.

I ordered the Cheese Ravioli, and let me tell you—it was nothing short of incredible. Each ravioli was generously stuffed with velvety, creamy cheese that oozed with every bite, creating this perfect, rich texture. The pasta itself was cooked to perfection—soft and tender with just the right amount of bite, making each forkful a delightful experience. The real magic, though, was in the sauce. It had a unique sweetness, almost like a slow-cooked, tomato-rich marinara that had been simmering for hours, deepening in flavor. The slight sweetness of the sauce paired with the creamy, savory cheese filling was an irresistible combination, creating layers of flavor that had me savoring every mouthful. Each bite felt comforting, like a warm hug on a plate, with a flavor profile that was balanced and deeply satisfying.

If you’re thinking of visiting on a Friday, keep in mind that while it might not be packed for dine-in, it’s a popular night for takeout, so be prepared for a little wait. But trust me, the food is absolutely worth it! This place is a must-visit for anyone craving delicious Italian classics in a laid-back, welcoming environment. I can’t wait to go back!

Tried Palermo’s for the first time after reading positive reviews. Ordered several pizzas with different crusts and toppings. As others have mentioned, the sauce is definitely on the sweet side, but still good. We went with one paper thin and one regular thin crust. Neither are as thin as tavern style, but we did prefer the paper thin. More chewy than crisp. Service was good, and the complimentary lemon sorbet was a nice touch.

First time trying Palermo’s on 63rd st. tonight. Came in from Colorado Springs to see the Hawks play my AVS. Had to try Palermo’s. Read many positive reviews, so i had to try it myself. Outstanding Chicago thin crust pizza. Highly recommend if you’re ever on the South side near Midway airport.

Called a total of 5 times and put on hold. 3 calls held for 5 minutes and NO ANSWER, 1 for 10 minutes! Finally got through after 3 minutes and told delivery will be 1 to 1 1/2 hours! Order elsewhere, good pizza but my time is valuable too! NO WAY TO RUN A BUSINESS

“The best pizza I’ve ever tasted: crispy crust, authentic flavor, and every bite an absolute delight. I enjoyed it while on vacation, and it became one of those memorable moments you wish you could relive again and again. A place I would definitely recommend and happily return to.” Thanks

Pizza is good but not 5$50 for one pepperoni pizza with minimum pepperoni. Each slice had literally one piece of pepperoni. I was a HUGE fan but Im not spending $90 on 2 pizzas. I will take my business elsewhere.
Not worth the price

Amazing food and fantastic service! If you are in Chicago I would highly recommend you dropping buy! Will be going again on my next visit. Pizza bread appetizer melts in the mouth, chicken Alfredo is simply devine, service is second to none, our server was friendly and helpful without being in your face but always there when needed.
