I go to a lot of coffee shops in the tri cities because I own a couple cleaning companies here! I always get a hot chia latte with a pump of vanilla syrup and a sprinkle of cinnamon! Boomerang by far has the best one yet! Don’t get me started on their breakfast selections! I love the bounce back muffin, its loaded and so moist! Today I had the bacon, egg and cheese sandwich on a croissant WOW so good! I’m so happy to hear you are opening a 3rd location! Congratulations!

I am visiting from Hawaii and came in on Sunday, Nov 30th, the girl was alone and made the best avo toast on gluten free bread with lots LOVE, returned on Tuesday Dec 2nd and there was 3 girls working and the avo toast was not toasted and barely avocado on it and my husband ordered a piggy bank and they never put egg on it, she re made it and seemed very annoyed at us for her mishap. Customers service goes along way with good food and wonderful coffee. Definately sad because of inconsistency…I am going to try one more time before I go, hoping it will be like the first time

On vacation and found this place. The dirty chi is great. Had a great experience on November 30th the piggy bank sandwich was amaizing! But we came back with excitement on December 2nd and the customer service was sub par and the avocado toast was also and my piggy bank sandwich was made wrong without egg and the second one was just okay. The girl working on Sunday was awesome. We are visiting from Hawaii and love to coffee shop hop…. unfortunately we will be hopping on to the next shop

Boomerang is our favorite coffee lounge in Midland! The service is great and is very kind. The food is fantastic and is my favorite coffee around. Love the classic flat white or classic iced late. The environment is small, but cozy.

Asked for a 12 oz mocha with an extra shot. It was undrinkable, coffee tastes old and possibly she put decaf in there. The milk tasted like it may have gone bad? 8 dollars for an undrinkable latte is unfortunate. Cookies are good though. This is the second time I’ve been here, first time I had to ask for a refund because it had been 20 mins and my drink still wasn’t ready. Tried to give another chance and no luck. Darn.

Ordered a sandwich with no cheese. When I got the sandwich it had obviously had cheese put on and pulled off quick because it was melted over half the sandwich. Asked it to be remade and the girl tried to get me to eat it since it was only on half. Told her I don’t want cheese and I’m not eating something with cheese. Asked for a refund instead and they refused and remade the sandwich which still had some cheese on it. Won’t be returning.

This place is definitely a gem in Midland. Staff is super friendly, environment is inviting. There is a small dining area. Food is delicious. The Bruschetta Toast is Amazing but anything on the menu is worth the try.

The saddest avocado toast I’ve ever had. I asked for more toppings because I could see through the avocado spread and there was one shake of everything bagel seasoning. They said, “this is how it comes, one slice of tomato cut in half, avocado, and everything bagel seasoning.”
Edit: The owner Maegan was so lovely and followed up promptly to address the issue after seeing my review. She went above and beyond to express that the order I received wasn’t up to their usual standard and offered a refund and my next order free. I will definitely be coming back to give boomerang another try—it’s a favorite spot of my sister’s. Thank you, Maegan!
