Tasteless sauce, there were no spices at all but they claim basil and oregano go in the recipe but it tastes just like pure tomato sauce with tiny tomatoes. I looked at every piece, no spice. The crust was so thin it had bubbles and tasted like a cracker and some parts shattered and crumbled. Under the crust, I saw these dots like a premade crust. I called and got the manager and once he heard I was upset gave the phone to the cook to explain this is how they do it. The manager would not say sorry or even offer me a partial refund. Literally, Little Ceasars stuffed crust and Dominos taste better. This chain has gotten so bad. They swear this is the official recipe. Just a cheese topped tomato cracker. And they said this crust was made that day. It is not good at all!

Being New Yorkers (Upstate), we’ve had many kinds of New York slices all over the state and in NYC, so we thought, “When in Rome.”
We sat outside on the most beautiful street, and there was plenty of shade. The service was great and the waitress even gave us a drink to go. The bathrooms were very clean and the atmosphere inside had cozy, little booths for four as well as larger booths for 6 – 8 people. There were plenty of larger tables, so seating would’t be an issue.
Now, the pizza… There were deep dish as well as “thin” crust, but even the thin crust wasn’t New York thin. We chose the deep dish supreme with the sausage patty as the waitress recommended. The waitress served up our first piece and it was strange not to see cheese on the top. In my first bite, I could taste thick slices of fresh mushroom, thick red sauce (similar to a tomato paste), and a crunchy (not hard) crust. The crust was deep fried in the pan, similar to how Pizza Hut used to make theirs in the 80’s. The crust tasted familiar…then it hit me. The crust tasted like the outside of a corndog, but not as sweet. The cheese was oozy, but it wasn’t the main event. Everytime I took a fork full, I forgot there was no cheese on top to hold the toppings on, so it was a bit messy. The sausage patty that was exposed was a very mild, but huge slice of sausage that fit over the entire medium pie. Unless you tried the sausage alone, you aren’t able to taste it.
All in all, I was very pleased and would recommend this pizzeria to anyone!

Saturday around dinner time. We were greeted and sat right away. Our server was quick and attentive. We were undecided about appetizers, so our server recommended spinach sticks. (great choice) Our pizza was delicious! I hadn’t seen this in a while, but the manager was walking around to make sure customers were taken care of. It was a great dining experience for my family and I. Thank you!

Gino’s East is a cool pizza place. It has a very chill atmosphere. Their pizza was very filling and delicious. Personally, I am a thin crust pizza type of person. Their thin crust truly is thin and crispy goodness. Their cheese is so gooey and stretchy. You can get great cheese pulls from the pizza! I was not a bug fan of the deep dish here. The wings had a great taste, but the meat was tough and almost dry. I would not get the bruschetta here. I thought it would be assembled, but they give you bread and bruschetta dip. It is very watery.
The staff was very friendly and they made us feel very welcomed!

After going to both Ginos East locations in Chicago went to this place as it was convenient and near Ohare. Ordered ahead so the Pizza was ready when we arrived. We always order Ginos Fire Deep Dish which has always been nice spicy and full of flavor. Not this time though. The crust had no flavor and felt like eating cardboard. The sauce and toppings were not at all like what’s normally on the Fire pizza.

Passing through town and stopped for some Chicago deep dish. We started with bruschetta – a generous portion served with at least a dozen small crusty, garlic bread slices. It was full of flavor as was the pizza! I prefer more sauce but it was delicious nonetheless. A hearty meal in an “old country Italian” setting mixed with firefighter memorabilia. Super friendly service and decent prices. Not a full bar (beer & wine only), but seemed like a pretty vast selection. They also have an outdoor patio for those warmer days. Would definitely return.

First time eating here, place looks nice, they have a nice patio, didn’t eat outside but i will be back in the summer to eat outside! I had the calamari, it was okay but the main dish ( what really matters ) was AMAZING . Pizza was really good, good amount of sauce and cheese I will forsure be back. Really good pizza

I was craving a good pizza, so my cousin took us to Gino’s. I had their Cesar Salad with a dip dish sausage pizza, which had a big sausage patty, a lot of cheese, good sauce and delicious crust. I was so satisfied with my meal. Our Server Cooper was so nice and attentive. The Atmosphere was nice and clean. I recommend you give this location a try. OH, I also had their delicious Bruschetta.
