The issue was I had to wait 10-12 minutes for my order because the young woman decided to make several online orders for people that never came into the store the entire time I was there.
When I finally got my order it was small, not a large. I was expecting her to remake it. Instead she took another cup and just scraped about 1.5” inside the new cup worth of smoothie out of the blender and handed it to me. Clearly not even close to the difference in size between the large that I ordered and the small that I was given.
I was actually shocked and did make a “are you serious” comment to the employee. Unfortunately, I was at work and didn’t have another 10 mins for her to remake the smoothie if I complained more. When I got into the car and drove away and started drinking it I noticed it was clearly made wrong and tasted pretty bad. I order the same thing (mostly at the Danbury store) on average 2-4 times a week, so I know exactly how it’s suppose to taste. Even worse, the smoothie is was full of large frozen banana chucks since she didn’t run it long enough in the blender. I had to throw out my $13 smoothie after only 2 sips.
That’s not good but stuff happens I get it. It’s hard to find good Employees for these lower level positions. But when I called to speak to the manager and was told they weren’t in I said no problem can I have their voicemail and the same young woman hung up on me. I called again 30 mins later (as I got busy at work) and was told by the same woman she could only take down my number and said she’d make sure he calls. I waited a week for the call, NO call came though. I called again, still no call 3 weeks later.
A mistake can happen but that many mistakes when your customers are paying top dollar for the product is unacceptable.
Maybe someone reads this and will reply, but I doubt it. Go to the Danbury store it’s got great service, but this place is horrible!
