Okay listen, look at the menu before coming because everything they serve is truly delicious and there are ABSOLITELY NO bad options. My personal favorites are the Al Pastor tacos, their strawberry horchata and their tres leches cake. We also usually end up getting the churros which are a perfect lil treat. Hoping to try every single thing on the menu eventually!!! It’s definitely a smaller shop, so if you’re wanting to try a lot I’d recommend taking the food to go, but if you’re wanting a quiet shop with amazing food for a chill lunch break, I cannot recommend El Nopal enough.

This is the perfect place for Birria. You should try it. Also, I recommend you to try the Tacos Árabes, those ones are originally from Puebla, very traditional

This is one of the best authentic Mexican restaurants in the area. It’s a must visit. The patron is very friendly and will accommodate your requests.

If you’re going to eat spicy, let him know and he’ll give you their spicy sauce.

Even the imitation soy meat is excellent in taste

The birria is a must try

My wife and I are from Phoenix, home of the best authentic Mexican food in the country, and we just moved here to Everett. I just want to say that these are the best birria tacos since we’ve been here! The tacos were real crunchy, with the right amount of onions, cilantro, and the cheese was so thick and melted. When I took my first bite, the cheese stretched across the table. The consomé was very flavorful as well. If you don’t know what is consomé, it’s the broth of the shredded beef that was cooked in, and it has all kinds of Mexican seasonings that you dip the tacos in. The rice and beans were also fantastic!

Our recent visit to El Nopal Mexican in Everett was a flavorful fiesta for the taste buds. The highlight of our dining experience was undoubtedly the goat tacos, a culinary masterpiece that left us craving more.

Served exclusively on Fridays and Saturdays, these goat tacos are a hidden gem that truly sets El Nopal apart. The succulent and tender meat, expertly seasoned and wrapped in warm tortillas, created a symphony of flavors that delighted our palates. The richness of the goat meat, combined with the perfect balance of spices, made each bite a savory sensation.

The attention to detail in crafting these tacos was evident, and it’s clear that El Nopal takes pride in offering a unique and delectable dish for those seeking an authentic Mexican dining experience. The limited availability on weekends only adds to the allure, making it a special treat for those fortunate enough to indulge.

Beyond the gastronomic delights, the atmosphere at El Nopal was vibrant and inviting. The friendly staff contributed to the overall warmth of the dining experience, making us feel like cherished guests.

For anyone seeking a culinary adventure and a taste of Mexican cuisine beyond the ordinary, El Nopal Mexican in Everett is a must-visit. The goat tacos alone are worth the trip, turning an ordinary weekend meal into a memorable and delicious occasion.

For a taco shop this is a great place for birria!
The Birria taco with cheese, is fried to perfection, crispy and not too greasy with a good balance of meat and cheese!
The tortillas are fresh and done well.

The price is more than other taquerias.

The al pastor taco has decent flavor and a good proportion of pineapple to meat.
I have had better texture, it is hard to say if it was just how they make it or if it was this batch.

The lengua had a good portion of the top membrane. It was not as tender and juicy as Lengua is typically.

It’s hard to find good Mexican food in Washington, but this place is fantastic! I mean, the horchata is from scratch, not a mix, and where else can you find that?! Just go, you won’t regret it

Both my asada and shrimp tacos were very good with nice flavor. The salsa’s are super good too. Pricing a little steep but staff is friendly.

So delicious!!!! These birria tacos were the bomb dot com! Seriously ! Sooo much flavor, and they gave us so many extra sauces, and grilled onions. We ordered about 23 tacos for $106, which I think is a decent price! The wait was not long either especially for the amount of tacos we ordered! Everyone loved them, the kids couldn’t stop eating them either! The restaurant itself was extremely clean and tidy and the staff was so kind and friendly and answered any questions we had with great detail! Definitely will be back!

Order a carne asada burrito and it was full of rice and beans thought there was a mistake and they gave me a rice and bean burrito till I looked closer and saw a few pieces of carne asada and their carnitas were so dry I choked on them and my daughter said mom their carnitas are so dry and hard to swallow. The only thing I can say was good was their flour and corn tortillas those were really good so if you want some tortillas go there and also their green salsa taste like uncooked tomatillo.
