Avoid! The scam this spot is performing on patrons is real safety concern to the public. This location is simply providing very low quality food; tons of bones haphazardly chopped into a poorly made goat biryani. I have actually had to run straight to the toilet after ingesting this meat and I threw 85% into the bin for fear of choking hazard, stomach issues and whatever mystery meat and poor attempt at biryanis they make.

I bought chicken biryani family pack yesterday from Biryani Point, and unfortunately, it was a very disappointing experience. The biryani rice was not properly cooked and tasted underdone, which made the dish unpleasant to eat.

More concerning was the boiled egg that came with the biryani — it had a bad smell and seemed spoiled. That was extremely disappointing and raises serious concerns about food quality and freshness.

Money is not a problem when it comes to paying for quality food, but the quality I received did not justify the price at all.

I hope the management takes this feedback seriously and improves their food quality and quality control. Based on this experience, I cannot recommend this place.

Visited biryani point in india bazar yesterday (02 Nov 2025) the handling of biryani was unhygienic, the staff at counter were busy and didn’t pay any attention towards the order, i asked for spicy biryani but they have given non-spicy one. Attached photo for reference.

This is the best Indian food for the price that I’ve found in the area! Generous portions, excellent food, and it’s always hot and fresh when picking up.

I love this place, I’ve gotten takeout here 3 times since discovering it inside India Bazaar. I was lured in by the biryani sign outside. Flavors of everything was delicious, authentic, spicy and quite reasonably priced for large portions. I’ve been looking for a good Hyderabadi Dum Biryani and this was on point! Fluffy separate grains of rice, flavor infused throughout. Husband loves the goat pepper fry and the tender goat curry. I’ve had the chicken tikka masala, shahi paneer, chicken curry, raita, and Hyderabadi chicken dum biryani, all were delicious. IMO better than most indian restaurants in the area! The chicken tikka masala is made with chicken breast so it’s pretty lean though, I would prefer chicken thigh so it’s more moist, but that’s just personal preference. The only thing I didn’t love was the moong dal masala chaat. I wish it was spicier and more sour, less sweet and maybe more onions/herbs.

I ordered a dessert that must be served cold. Instead they took it out of the freezer. Put it in a microwave and cooked it and then gave it to me woman which made it taste awful.

The gulab jamun was perfect. Even my mother liked it. Thank you so much. It’s one of my favorite desserts.

First time here. We were surprised at the quantity and quality of the food in the inexpensive thali plate. We split one since it was lunch, but it was really enough for two of us for dinner.

Visited Biryani Point last weekend specifically requesting goat meat for kids (with less bone). When I brought the curry home, it was full of bones without any significant meat and rice was sticky and completely spoiled. The worst Desi restaurant I have ever come across here in the US!!!

I ordered the chicken curry, chicken tikka masala, and one garlic naan. Their food only offers two spice levels: medium and spicy. Medium is still very spicy, which is a problem for me as I can’t handle spicy food.

The garlic naan lacked any garlic flavor and was extremely soft, with no crispy layer—definitely not freshly made.

The biggest issue was the curry. It tasted like pre-prepared food, as if it had been made a long time ago and just reheated. The chicken was not fresh; it was overly soft, chalky, and clearly overcooked.

Here’s an image of the chicken tikka masala I ordered, but it turned out to be butter chicken instead.

I’m very disappointed with my order from this place.
