Five star experience, five star price for good Mediterranean food. Best thing we ordered? The appetizer platter! It fed us till we were almost too full for our entrees! Very pretty place to dine in. Service was also quite excellent. Their great reputation in the OC is well deserved.

*Great place for Date night*

Zovs pomegranate martini was interesting.

We went for Valentine’s dinner and the service was amazing. There was live music and it was the perfect date night.

Food was delicious and made to order. Food came out hot and fresh. We wanted the lamb special but it was sold out.

We liked the pistachio crusted sea bass with quinoa cake and the chicken special. The lentil soup was decent but the eggplant fries were good but not seasoned.

The chicken special had chicken breast in mushroom gravy. It came out super pink on the inside, ( this was the only downside) but they were very apologetic and brought out a different order pretty quickly and compensated it in the check.

My family and I are very disappointed with our recent experience at Zov’s. We have been loyal customers for years, especially at this location, and used to come almost once a week because of the great service and high quality food. However, after returning today for the first time in a while, we were shocked by how much things have changed. The meat was extremely dry and not worth the price. The service was also very poor compared to what we were used to. In the past, bread and butter were always brought to the table, but this time we were not offered any. Even the tap water tasted so bad that we had to order sparkling water instead. We are not sure if there has been a change in management, but we truly miss the Zov’s we used to love. We hope the quality and service return to the standards that made this restaurant so special.

Large bright restaurant, good for groups, with a loosely Mediterranean menu. The standouts were the salmon Benedict and pistachio crusted seabass. The kabobs and veggie burger were good, but not great. The service was poor at first, but towards the end they tried to make up for it. I’d definitely return for brunch on the patio next time.

I honestly don’t quite know how to rate this place.

We were initially excited to see that breakfast was available, and we genuinely appreciated that water was immediately brought out for our puppies — that was a thoughtful and kind gesture.

Unfortunately, the rest of the experience didn’t live up to that first impression.

My husband ordered breakfast, and when the food arrived it was missing some very basic accompaniments: dry toast with no butter or jam, scrambled eggs with no salt or pepper, and nothing already on the table. My husband asked for butter and salt and pepper, and the server said she would bring them, but several minutes passed and nothing arrived.

I understand the restaurant was busy seating new guests, but once a table is seated and served, the expectation is that the server checks back on the guests they already have. What was meant to be a relaxed Sunday breakfast ended up feeling frustrating and incomplete.

When I paid, I politely mentioned that it would have been nice to have the basic accompaniments brought out with the meal. I was told these items are only offered upon request, and that during busy periods, requests can take time. If that is the policy, it might be more efficient for servers to ask at the time of ordering whether guests would like butter, jam, or salt and pepper brought out. This could help avoid delays and confusion, especially when the restaurant is busy.

We weren’t looking for anything complimentary. We paid for the food and for service, and at the very least the meal should be served with care and a sense of pride.

I did still leave a tip, mainly because the gesture of bringing water for our puppies was genuinely appreciated.

Yvette was out waitress and led us in the right direction. For our first time here we tried the fried Brussels and bacon, the kabobs, and the meatloaf. The Brussels may have been the best thing. Crispy, and sweet from the wine reduction. I liked the steak kabob a bit more than the chicken; cooked and seasoned very well. And the meatloaf was tender, juicy, and very flavorful.

Another very nice visit with nice food and service. We had the famous Golden Lental soup with mixed chicken and beef kabobs and spaghetti. As a birthday treat, the server brought us a sundae. Parking was easy, and you can choose to sit indoors or out on the patio.

Grateful to our friends for inviting us here .We enjoyed our Friday night dinner. The food and service were both spot on. It’s a luxury these days to get both at a restaurant. Absolutely enjoyed the Mezee platter..perfect start. The sea bass that I had was outstanding- melt in your mouth , sweet, fresh fish. The quinoa that came alongside was good too and so were the Brussel sprouts. The lyrics had live music going on and a generally lovely atmosphere perfect for a Fri/Sat night!
