The prices were only $9.99 or $12.99, but the amount of food and side dishes was honestly incredible. Not only was the portion huge, but everything tasted so good. My friend and I kept saying, “How is this so delicious for only $9.99?” the whole time we were eating.
I really hope this restaurant never closes, which is why I wanted to leave a review. I hope more people come and support them so they can continue offering this amazing lunch special.
I originally knew about Hanshin Pocha because it was created by Baek Jong Won, so I already trusted the brand. I don’t usually go out for dinner very often, so I didn’t visit much before, but their lunch is honestly amazing.
Craving a warm, comforting broth and a spicy dish, I recently visited Han Shin Pocha in LA. As expected, it didn’t disappoint and I had a wonderfully enjoyable time!
On this visit, I ordered the ‘Odeng Soup’ and ‘Golbaengi Muchim’ – an excellent choice indeed!
First, the Odeng Soup boasted an exceptionally deep and refreshing broth. Its warmth was perfect for a chilly evening, truly warming the body. Plus, the generous variety of fish cakes offered a delightful pick-and-choose experience. Each spoonful of the broth practically begged for a shot of soju – it was such a perfect pairing that I almost overindulged!
Then there was the Golbaengi Muchim, the epitome of spicy and tangy flavors. The fresh vegetables combined with the chewy sea snails were simply artful. The seasoning wasn’t overly aggressive but still managed to tantalize the taste buds with just the right amount of kick, perfectly balancing the mildness of the Odeng Soup. Mixing it with the somyeon noodles made for an even more satisfying and filling meal!
Overall, LA Han Shin Pocha is an excellent spot to enjoy delicious Korean pocha food in a lively atmosphere. I highly recommend it for a night out with friends or when you need to de-stress. I’ll definitely be trying other menu items on my next visit! It was a great meal!
The food was delectable, and the price was quite reasonable.
I ordered the Sweet and Spicy Chicken Lunch Box and rated it 10/10.
I also ordered the Beef Soft Tofu Stew and rated it 7/10. The stew could have used a bit more flavor, but overall, it was satisfactory.
All the side dishes that came with the box were delicious and deserve a rating of 10/10.
I will definitely be returning to this restaurant.
