They are usually not crowded and the food is very good. Nice portions. Service is also good. I really enjoy the deep fried burritos. Chips are fresh and salsa great too. Check it out in Prosperity!

As a Mexican restaurant specialist, I had to check this one out. Don Chuy’s did not disappoint. I had the beef chimichanga that came with refried beans and guacamole salad. We are so thrilled to find this wonderful restaurant in Prosperity, SC. The owner is so gracious, always welcoming us and all patrons, and the staff is wonderful. This is not “chain-food Mexican.” The ingredients are fresh, and the seafood is delicious. They have a constant carry-out that speaks of their reputation. Every meal we have tried has been exceptional. The portions are so generous that we usually take a box home. The rice is very fluffy and has a great flavor! The chips they bring out immediately are warm and the salsa tasty.

I’ve been there three times now and have explored the menu. I found the food to be very tasty, delicious and plentiful and my wife likes it too.
Update: 7-28-2022 We went there for supper yesterday evening and met the new manager, His nickname is ” Chewy” and his pride and care in service and food was immediately evident. The food was fabulous and well prepared he was not too busy and we spoke with him at length. He has really stepped up the quality and taste of the food and now this place is very highly recommended, it is a must try if you’re in the area and is worthy of travel if you are not.

Excellent Mexican Food! Under new management, hadn’t been in awhile, but have been missing out! Food & service was excellent! Ordered the Deep Fried Burrito & it was soooo yummy! Definitely going to be a usual for my family & I, from here on out! Everything that my family ordered was very fresh and prepared perfectly! Also, the Pollo Fundido (shredded) was more than enough, fresh, and tasted really good! Give this place a try, since it has new management…. You should not be disappointed!

We absolutely love coming here. You can taste the love in the food and Chuy is such an amazing person. The food is amazing and those Birria tacos…pure heaven! Chuy said his wife hand makes them and you can tell! They are hands down the best Birria tacos I have ever had and I make a point to try them at different places.

I got the steak n mushroom dish and it has cheese. My fiance got the Hawaiian fajita. Both were amazing. Will be coming back again.
